It has been four weeks since Tuesday when I had knee surgery. This recovery has been rough. I kept taking my kpv and klow steadily. Healing started slow so I increased the amounts above what I usually use. I take 25 mg kpv and 20 mg of klow. Some might think that is high but it works for me. The incision has now closed completely. My bend is still poor though. Outpatient therapy is too expensive so I am handling it myself. After five knee surgeries I know the routine. We are heading back to the gym which should help. I exercise at home but really need a bike and strength work. I have to accept that I am older now and heal slower. It is tough because I usually recover fast from health problems. I have cried many nights feeling let down in myself. Getting around others at the gym should make a big difference. No more staying isolated. There were no scabs left after my bath last night. I put on tight pajama bottoms so I am too lazy to show how it looks this morning.

After my initial knee operation I skipped enough therapy sessions and recovery turned out really tough. That experience taught me well so the next procedure went much smoother overall. Bending must feel awful in your situation following several operations. I'm rooting for you to push through and come out stronger on the other side.

Even that daily amount still strikes me as pretty massive. I've been tracking how your healing is unfolding so far. Really hoping this turns out to be the lasting solution for the joint trouble.

Twenty five milligrams works okay for me right now. In about two weeks I'm planning to cut back. I don't intend to keep using that amount forever.

That idea really appeals to me. My plan after wrapping up the current one is to deal with each item on its own from there.
