Summary

Can AHK-Cu be injected subcutaneously for hair growth like GHK-Cu, and does anyone have experience with it?

Users bought lyophilized AHK-Cu by accident and are asking whether it works as an injection the way GHK-Cu does. No one reports personal experience injecting AHK-Cu, though some note AI sources claim it targets scalp and hair better than GHK-Cu. Several people describe using injected GHK-Cu along with topical treatments and seeing gradual hair benefits, while others worry systemic effects might cause unwanted hair growth elsewhere.

I ended up with freeze-dried AHK-cu without meaning to, since I meant to get the raw form for making a hair treatment and didn't check carefully. Can this peptide be used as an injection under the skin the way GHK-cu is? Anyone experimented with it for hair benefits on its own or mixed with GHK-CU? I've been looking stuff up but would appreciate real user stories.

I've been wondering the same thing but can't locate any details on injecting AHK-Cu, which makes me suspect there's a reason people avoid it. I'd prefer to inject rather than apply it on the skin though.

According to an AI the AHK-cu version works better on the head to encourage fresh hair growth while the GHK version handles facial skin more effectively.

You can turn what you have into a hair serum. The formulas I've come across are meant for exactly that. I've only looked at a couple pages while thinking about getting some for my wife, never actually tried it. I recall someone here sharing recipes that included adding copper.

I saw one person on tiktok mention injecting a daily copper dose split between GHK-cu and AHK-cu, about 1mg of each. It makes me wonder why the product is sold if nobody actually uses it that way.

I know I could make serum with it, but it feels inefficient. The vials are 100mg while recipes call for a full gram in the mixture, so I'd need every vial I have and the freeze-dried form costs more. I was hoping this version might actually be intended for shots instead.

I've also been curious how well AHK-CU would perform as a subq injection. I've lost roughly half my hair and it was already thin to begin with. I don't believe rapid weight loss is the cause since I take vitamins and protein drinks daily. This has lasted three or four months with no further weight change lately. If you learn anything please share because I'm really interested in injectable results.

From what I've learned, injected GHK-cu supports hair growth over time so that could be worth trying. What has helped my hair so far includes nizoral shampoo two or three times a week, a product containing lustriva from the instarelief brand, ahk-cu scalp serum for a month with no visible change yet, and starting ghk-cu injections a week ago.

I'm quite interested too and plan to keep checking for any new info since I've shed around half my hair as well.

Any update on this? Anyone pinning ahk-cu?

Suppose this promotes new hair then a shot would spread through the whole body and trigger growth in unwanted spots too. Maybe it's just me wondering about the issue because I'm female and men seem less bothered by extra fuzz everywhere.

In my experience, talks about AHK-Cu usually focus on skin or hair uses instead of treating it like a stand-in for GHK-Cu. For that reason I don't see the freeze-dried form as proof of typical use along those lines.
