I'm worried about harming freeze-dried semaglutide while reconstituting it. When I add BAC water at an angle but the needle isn't pressed against the glass wall, so the water still hits the powder directly, does that cause meaningful damage? My semaglutide hasn't been effective for a while and I'm wondering if my mixing method is the reason.

I've never seen sema stop working after reconstitution even when the needle pointed straight at the powder. I did build tolerance to it fast though, and so did people I know. Probably the same thing is happening to you.

Okay, maybe it's something else like freezing the vial and then adding BAC water to the frozen powder on this particular vial.

Adding bac to frozen powder is what I and plenty of others do every single time with no issues.

Peptides are not as fragile as people claim. You can shoot the liquid straight into the powder and shake the vial hard and it won't hurt anything.

It arrives by airplane and the whole delivery and import process is rough. You won't damage the peptide.

No. A thousand times no. The idea that these peptides are delicate and will be ruined by any rough handling needs to stop. When people get scared because they tipped a vial on its side or left it out of the fridge for ten minutes, it's gone too far.

I have to admit some confusion over how they can survive pretty rough transport across the world yet become super fragile once reconstituted. I still handle them carefully just in case, but it feels like an overreaction.

Not sure about this folks but there was a time when I kept the windows cracked and a strong gust swept through passing near my container so I ended up tossing the whole thing out just in case.

Not that I disagree that peptides are tougher than commonly believed, but there is a real difference in fragility between lyophilized and reconstituted vials. Shipping jostling is fine for the freeze-dried form, but once mixed they can aggregate or precipitate more easily. Shooting bac into the puck is probably still okay though. The change happens at reconstitution, like turning egg whites into something delicate by whipping them.

Talking to multiple lab techs confirmed that injecting straight onto the powder doesn't hurt peptides. Neither does shaking them during reconstitution. One source said gymbros would be surprised how hard a lab tech shakes a vial for testing.

I usually mix mine by using the vial like a birdie and playing badminton with my daughter for ten minutes. I'm not too worried about a little squirt of water.

The very first reta vial I reconstituted had the BAC shoot into the powder so hard it turned almost all foam. That vial still lasted me nine weeks with no issues.

My weight has been dropping really slowly overall. It's been around ten or eleven weeks so far. The scale hasn't moved at all for the past three weeks. I've switched to taking the 2.2 mg dose every five days rather than waiting a full week.
