Did you jump straight to 8 mg retatrutide on your first try or work up to it? Also alternating 5 mg tirzepatide with that 8 mg retatrutide for a weekly total of 13 mg? If the goal isn't rapid weight loss that seems high. I always start low and creep up only as far as needed. Started retatrutide in early February at 1 mg split, now at 4 mg split and down 20 lb while still training. Plenty of room to stay here before backing off for maintenance.
Hey everyone, time to switch things around. I had been using tirzepatide at 10 mg and began moving over to retatrutide. Current schedule is retatrutide 8 mg on Mondays and tirzepatide 5 mg on Fridays. Food sounds completely unappealing and I have to push myself to eat the first two meals. I expected retatrutide would still leave some hunger so I kept a bit of tirzepatide, but that turned out unnecessary. Tuesdays and Wednesdays after the retatrutide shot I feel wiped out. Even with daily electrolytes and carbs like potatoes or rice I get lightheaded when I stand up after squatting, almost to the point of blacking out. Still lifting four days a week and aiming for 130-150 g protein at 183 lb body weight.
