Summary

Has BPC-157 helped anyone with diverticulitis?

No one in the thread reports personal results with BPC-157 for diverticulitis. Participants note BPC-157 was originally developed for gut repair and suggest it might be worth trying, while several recommend KPV instead for its anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antimicrobial properties. The original poster has BPC-157 available and is considering immediate use for a family member.

Anyone here tried BPC157 on diverticulitis and how did it turn out? My mom is in the middle of a flare and not doing well. It crossed my mind to give her 700mcg a day split into two doses since BPC is supposed to help repair the gut lining. Any thoughts or experiences?

Thanks, I already have BPC on hand so I was thinking about using that right away. I was just reading about KPV yesterday and it sounded promising too. Have you used KPV? Any thoughts on it?

Not a doctor, but KPV was made for gut problems and works as a strong anti-inflammatory so it should help. The antifungal and antimicrobial side effects wouldn’t hurt either. Not sure it will fix the issue but wiping out things like candida is a good sign. I personally like KPV a lot.

BPC-157 was also mainly for gut issues since it came from a protein in gastric juice. I would say give it a try but nobody really knows for sure.

That’s what I thought because it comes from gastric juice, thanks!
