I've hit under ten pounds from my target. Started these meds at 153 after already dropping ninety on my own. Aiming for 120 and this morning it read 129.8. The first one cut the cravings and took off a bit but then held steady at 134 for a month. Two weeks on the new one and the numbers are falling again. Really hoping to reach 120 soon. Can't wait to visit family next month after losing about fifty pounds since they last saw me. Glad I saved all my old smaller clothes because replacing everything would be too expensive. Just sharing with folks who understand. Have a good one everyone.

That's great. I had stacks of jeans and shirts that no longer fit. Picked up four XL shirts and wore those whenever we went anywhere. Most of those shirts work now but the jeans will need more loss. Put it all on during a year and a half of retirement. Those post-work beers really add up.

Haha, I never drank beer. My issue from childhood was always snacks. I used to stuff Doritos into a ham sandwich. Spent my whole life as the heavy kid and it took this long to sort it out. When we retired we moved onto a sailboat and those boats are tough for bigger people to handle. The storage spots are cramped. Another reason to drop the weight and keep it off.

Nice progress. What kind of sailboat? The image is too tiny for me to tell. We know several people who lived on boats for stretches. We used to sail the inland lakes ourselves.

It's a Union 36. We're staying on a Mariner 40 while we work on the Union.

Sounds good. Hope the work goes smoothly.

That's neat. And well done on the weight coming off. Doing some of it without meds must have been tough. Keep going, you're nearly there.

Way to go. Finally watching the scale move me into a normal BMI after years in the class II obese range feels really good.
