Delayed Injection Site Reactions starting at 5mg – Anyone else?

Itching came on strong without any red bump forming during the opening six-week span once the shots started. I figured that came from a histamine response.

I recall that slower responses don't involve histamine because those happen quickly by definition so a delay points to immune cell activity instead just to clarify. Spot reactions after shots show up frequently with any of these meds and appeared in the research so the cause is probably the medication itself rather than impurities or the diluent. One user here reports them no matter the version but such overlaps are uncommon so switching versions might sidestep the problem. If everything stays limited to the area without broader skin problems then it hinges on how much the itch bothers someone and they tend to stick around. I just tolerate it or check whether allergy meds make a difference or switch versions. Testing another diluent carries little risk but I doubt it explains things. I might try a shot using only the diluent to check for a response.

My first fourteen doses gave no trouble at all while the amount climbed from 2.5mg to 7.5mg. The fifteenth produced a tiny red itchy bump that showed up two days afterward and hung around for two more. With the sixteenth the bump arrived the following day and still hasn't faded after three. For the next one I'm going to try my leg instead to check whether the injection spot changes anything. It strikes me as odd that my system only started responding after fifteen weeks right when beach season is rolling in. Oh well.

That's the process behind developing sensitivity to a substance. Contact must occur first so the defenses can figure out whether to respond. Those kinds of responses normally appear across multiple weeks or even months rather than just days or after many years. Lower grade versions could raise the odds because contaminants help boost immune activity, yet sensitivities show up often even with clean products. All other items go into my stomach region while this substance goes in my upper leg since the irritation feels milder and less bothersome there.

When I first started the official version I got these irritating red spots that itched terribly. I tried all the ideas people gave but nothing helped. Once I switched over to the other type after four injections there were no spots or itching whatsoever and I've completed sixty four altogether now. I also quit swabbing my skin with alcohol and just washed with soap and water instead but I don't believe that changed anything. The red spots really upset me since they itched especially at nighttime.
