Someone claimed they wasted a full week supply by accidentally pushing it out of the syringe. I said there are much cheaper places available. Immediately a bunch of people started asking where and then I got removed. Those groups are dull anyway and after a few months most users are just hunting for the lowest price. I need to avoid annoying the main mod again or I will end up having to actually post on the other board since all my usual spots are getting shut down.
Banned from a tirzepatide reddit group after hinting at cheaper options
Why do people get banned from Reddit GLP groups for mentioning cheaper sources?
Users report quick bans or account deletions on Reddit for even vaguely pointing toward lower-cost alternatives or other forums. They describe the subs as focused on chasing minor price differences among approved compounders while ignoring gray options. Many found this site through indirect searches or old posts and now treat Reddit bans as routine or even positive. The thread shows widespread frustration with heavy moderation that protects ad revenue from resellers.
What this discussion establishes- Mere suggestions of cheaper avenues trigger pile-ons and bans
- Several users discovered this forum via search after noticing patterns on Reddit
- Some subs are stricter than others with reta communities described as more open
- Bans are framed as badges of honor or proof of being right
Some defend Reddit communities as containing smart contributors while others call the majority low-IQ or drama-filled
Still openExactly which comment crossed the line in the original ban
Nothing here is advice.
My whole account got wiped last week for supposedly dealing even though I never named any sources. I only suggested where to look for more info and how to avoid bad spots. Dozens of people messaged me asking for sources and I ignored them all. So they are on their own now.
Reddit deletes my posts all the time. I also got banned from the other board on day one for posting in the wrong section. I will just stay on the glp forum instead.
They must not like you. Someone else brought up gray and their comments stayed up.
That sub is weak. Next goal should be getting banned from the biggest glp sub that is full of people who clutch pearls over everything.
I have been removed from every facebook glp group by now. I never even pushed gray, just said there are other routes.
He does end every post with that phrase though.
Good. Stay off reddit when talking about things that will just bring in new people who ruin it. There is plenty of info out there on how to reach the gray community. People can find it themselves if they search for a few minutes. It is annoying when someone on reddit loudly asks who wants gray and then a flood of new users arrives complaining about scams and dosing too high from whoever seemed friendly.
That subreddit is packed with drama. After reading threads there it is obvious it is full of low effort thinkers. I hardly visit anymore.
I am banned from several places and even got a seven day suspension after making a new account to go back. Laughing about it.
Getting banned from reddit is basically a badge of honor and means you were probably correct about something.
I found this place indirectly through reddit. Noticed lots of people using another peptide that was not officially out yet so they had to be getting it somewhere. Searched and eventually landed here after checking other leads.
You left out the actual comment that caused the ban. I would like to see it. They do not remove people just for saying cheaper options exist. You must have gone further than that.
You caught me. I did add a little more detail but they can keep their forum where they switch favorite compounders every week instead of accepting the other route.
Same way I got here. Was on the medication and saw many mentions of the other one. Posts told people to read the forums. Glad every day that the gray option exists.
I got the link from another site that is probably not supposed to be mentioned here so that works for me.
I visited once and said everyone there might be slow. Why keep going back? It makes no sense.
Not everyone. Plenty of sharp people post detailed info on obscure topics. Still many users struggle with basic dose calculations and units. It took me time to adjust to thinking in concentration and volume instead of just milligrams.
I only joined reddit for one topic about a historical disaster and the town involved. Heard there are lots of idiots there too.
I only found this site because someone posted about it on reddit. Thanks for that. I got scammed the first time so I was one of the new users there.
Not all of reddit is bad. I enjoy certain subs for humor or music topics. The key is knowing it is mainly for things that are not serious.
There are games that cover that history. The whole site seems to come from campus speech restrictions. A meme would show masked students around a free speech zone sign who are afraid to speak. Same energy but on a playground.
And now reddit is all about censorship with users who enjoy it.
I am in a couple of niche subs that are fine. My worst experiences outside politics were in subs about investigations, food snobbery, certain identity topics, and anything related to snark.
This place started because people were getting banned from reddit. That is how I arrived here years ago.
I used to post there a lot and they did not like me because I pointed out how pointless it is to keep switching compounders for small savings while people ignore the bigger picture.
That fits. Reddit is like lord of the flies online. Normal weight and body stats are celebrated but I still have weight to lose. The medication has lowered my blood pressure in a way nothing else did while I am still heavy. You cannot disagree with the groupthink or you get downvoted hard.
What are you talking about?
I came here after clicking a profile link from one of the few users who seemed to know what they were talking about. I think I was around member thirteen hundred back then. Hard to believe the count is near sixty thousand now.
You would have to fold space to get it.
Whatever that means. I do not care enough to check.
And now about thirty thousand of us here are the lord of the flies of the internet.
My experience with reddit has been different. I have been banned elsewhere but not there. Early posts of mine were treated like spam. Every forum has a group that freaks out if you say the wrong thing. Free speech only counts if you stay within their lines. When too many members join the problem grows because low effort users gain visibility they never had before and use it to cancel others. It is a human pattern seen across many platforms.
If you remember the old forum wars from the early two thousands you would understand. There used to be many separate boards that fought each other. Then everything merged into fewer giant platforms like reddit. Now the old rivalries show up as people trying to police or bully others inside the big site.
Do not feel bad. Here is a limerick for it: There once was a poster who gave advice on reddit to people who needed it. Mentioned the gray option and got banned the same day. Now that place is empty.
Good because I already have that user on ignore.
I have the last resort user on ignore too. Circle of life.
Just saying hi before you get banned again.
Do you also have that other user on ignore?
Reddit is pushing ads now. When you scroll you see ads from domestic resellers. They do not want gray mentioned because it would cut into that revenue.
I now have another user on ignore. I like their posts but cannot resist joining any conga line that forms.
Yes that one too. I am the only one I have to deal with.
I have accepted the title.
Only because you are looking for them. Same for me.
