how to adjust peptide doses like GHK-Cu, AOD, and protein intake to break a weight loss plateau on retatrutide after switching from tirzepatide

The original poster reported a plateau after switching to 6 mg weekly retatrutide following 55 lb loss on tirzepatide, with a stack including low-dose GHK-Cu, BPC/TB, AOD, 5-amino-1MQ, and MOTS-c plus 90 g protein daily. Replies suggested raising GHK-Cu to 3-5 mg daily, increasing protein to near 1 g per lb body weight, and dropping or adjusting the injury peptides and AOD. The OP later reported breaking the plateau after raising protein and water, reaching 200 lb from a start of 269 lb at 6'2", with plans to run 5 mg GHK-Cu daily for four weeks.

right now my daily stack looks like this: ghk-cu at 1.7 mg, bpc-157 plus tb-500 at 250 mcg, aod-9604 at 300 mcg on weekdays, 5-amino-1mq at 300 mcg in the morning, mots-c at 1 mg in the morning on weekdays, and retatrutide at 6 mg weekly. I jumped straight to that retatrutide dose after finishing six months on tirzepatide and dropping 55 pounds. After four weeks on the new stack I have not lost any weight for the last three weeks and it feels like a plateau, which is frustrating because the tirzepatide had been steady. I still have 35-40 pounds left to reach my target. I am lifting, hitting 90 g of protein, keeping carbs low and fiber high from pills, and I just bought a yoga mat to add some core work at home. Sleep feels unchanged and still decent. Skin looks the same as before with no wrinkles or issues, though the message cuts off there.

the amounts you listed seem low overall. GHK-Cu usually needs 3-5 mg daily before changes show up after a full month. BPC and TB are only worth using if you are dealing with an injury or about to do something that might cause one. AOD has mixed feedback and the common amount is 500 mcg every day rather than five days a week. 5-amino-1mq taken by mouth at 50 mg twice daily worked better for me. MOTS-c can go as high as 15 mg per week. At your height and weight 90 g of protein looks too low; aiming for roughly 1 g per pound of body weight or at least 0.7 g per pound helps keep muscle. Sleep of seven to nine hours is essential and stress matters too. Good luck.

so I will raise the GHK-Cu amount. On an insulin syringe what marking equals 3-5 mg, maybe 30 to 50 units? I can drop the BPC/TB and the AOD since I only use it five days a week anyway. Do you think the AOD dose should go up? Since the last post I have added more water and protein and the plateau broke with 11 pounds gone in two weeks. My height is 6'2", I started at 269 lb and am now at 205 lb after six and a half months for a total loss of 64 lb. Goal remains 165-170 lb.

sounds like my own GHK-Cu amount might also be too low. I have been using 2 mg per day five days each week.

what is your current weight? 90 g really does seem low. With all those compounds it is hard to tell which one is doing anything. Retatrutide is known to be far stronger than most of the others so the results are expected. Are you weighing every food item in grams? Any plateau usually comes down to calories in versus out, so without tracking that it is easy to stay stuck.

did you run into many side effects when you began retatrutide at 6 mg? It is surprising there was no weight movement at first.

I am 6'3" plus and when I reached 195 lb I looked and felt quite thin. My calculated ideal BMI was around 198 lb, yet I still felt too lean and now try to hold 200-205 lb. I wonder how 165 lb will look and feel on you.

I have been overweight a couple of times as a type 1 diabetic and each time I managed to return to my usual slender range of 165-175 lb. That has always been my normal build since I was a skinny kid and teen. Someone two inches taller can still look thin at 195 lb, but I personally feel chubby at that weight. Latest update is that the plateau is over and I am now at 200 lb after being stuck at 216 lb for a month.

the first five months on tirzepatide alone I lost 55 lb. Once I switched to retatrutide the plateau hit at 216 lb, but since the earlier post the stall ended and I am now at 200 lb, nearly back into the 190s.

I raised the dose to 5 mg after mixing with 2 ml. Still looking for a cosmetic-grade version to apply on the skin because the injections have not produced any visible skin changes yet. Thanks again for the suggestions.

yes I did the same. Now at 5 mg daily and will pause after four weeks.
