Adding to Reta stack?

4 replies3 peopleJun 10, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Should someone already on reta and mots-c add a cjc/ipa blend next for weight loss and muscle goals?

The original poster has used reta for three months up to 6 mg and added mots-c recently with positive results, now considering a cjc/ipa blend. One reply supports the addition as compatible when taken at night and notes personal experience with mots-c aiding sleep after gh pulses. Another asks for goals first, then after hearing the focus on major weight loss plus lifting, suggests glp-1s drive most fat loss while the blend may help muscle and recovery, preferring cjc with dac alone for stronger igf-1 effects.

I've been using reta for three months now, beginning at 2 mg and gradually increasing to my current 6 mg dose. About two weeks back I started including mots-c at 1 mg each day I exercise, which happens four or five times weekly. Things have gone well, and I'm considering adding a cjc/ipa mix soon. Do you think I should wait longer before introducing that?

Taking the growth hormone secretagogues in the evening means it shouldn't cause any issues. Adding it seems like a solid choice. There's no real concern unless cancer is a factor for you. I personally struggle to get up in the morning without MOTS-C following the GH pulses, so everything should be fine.

Without knowing your objectives it's difficult to give advice on this. What are you hoping the CJC/Ipa will do for you? Perhaps another option would suit better, but more details on your situation would help.

Mainly I'm aiming for weight loss since I'm carrying extra weight and want to drop at least 100 pounds. Most of my training involves weights to gain muscle which should aid fat burning. I included the mots for energy and thought the Cjc/ipa mix could support losing fat, building muscle, and recovering better.

Fat loss will happen gradually with this approach. A glp1 will handle most of that effort. For building muscle and recovery it can be useful. Because of the short duration some inject two or three times daily. I like using CJC with DAC instead of combining with ipa. This sets up a strong setting for recovery and hyperplasia through much higher igf-1 signaling downstream compared to cjc without dac plus ipa. Check out a book that covers the various secretagogues so you can compare the options and choose accordingly.
