Did I hit a nerve?

Summary

Is a delayed dull spreading pain after GHK-Cu injection the typical GHK sting or something else like a nerve hit?

One user described a single instance of ant-bite-like dull pain on the abdomen after GHK-Cu that started 20 minutes post-injection and faded overnight, with no issues on later pins. Others report daily stinging lasting up to 36 hours no matter the dilution or site, though glutes are somewhat better, and one noted ongoing burn after ankle injection of related compounds. A reply states nerve contact produces immediate electric shock and jerking, unlike the delayed symptoms described.

Whether the one-off dull pain matched the standard GHK sting or was unrelated

I might be lucky and skip the usual injection site reactions. Last night when pinning GHK-Cu in the abdomen though I got this odd dull pain that spread. It didn't match the typical GHK complaints—no sting or red raised lump—but felt exactly like an Australian green ant bite. It started roughly 20 minutes after the pin, hung around a couple hours until I fell asleep, and was gone by morning. Does this sound like the GHK sting or something different? Would appreciate any experiences. Also pinned again tonight with no pain.

In my previous run with this stuff, the burning sensation began occurring every day, and each one would go on for around a day and a half. I'm expecting some plain GHK to arrive shortly that I can combine with it, in the hopes that this will eliminate the discomfort. No matter how much liquid I add to thin it out, whether a little or a lot, or which muscle I inject into, the sensation remains identical. Though it tends to be less intense when done in the rear.

I appreciate you posting that. What still puzzles me though is how this occurred just a single time up until now. After that I've done two more without any problems.

That duration sounds excessive. Yesterday evening I administered a minimal amount straight into the damaged part of my ankle and noticed an immediate sharp tingling. Fifteen hours later the discomfort is still present, though I expect it to fade before long. Never dealt with anything similar even after using that same spot on earlier occasions without trouble.

This reaction isn't something I've encountered before, but I'm pretty sure it would be obvious right from the start if a nerve got touched during insertion. In my acupuncture treatments, the feeling comes on suddenly, like a sharp zap of electricity that makes me flinch hard from the hurt. The person doing the treatment spots this from how I react and takes the needle out straight away.
