Do you filter Semax/Selank and most IN peps?

Summary

Should intranasal peptides be filtered before use?

Some users see no need to filter intranasal peptides because the nasal passages already serve as the body's frontline defense and people inhale contaminants daily anyway. Others always filter every vial to give their sinuses extra protection, especially if they have a history of sinus issues, and note that it only adds a few minutes. A couple of participants filter everything routinely and see no reason not to.

Curious if anyone using intranasal peptides runs them through PES filters or just applies them straight from the vial. Any pros and cons?

I don't think filtering is required. The nose and respiratory tract already serve as the first line of defense before anything reaches the bloodstream, unlike an injection that bypasses those barriers. People breathe in plenty of contaminants every day regardless.

I always filter. The sinus lining has strong defenses but I still give it whatever extra protection I can. I've dealt with sinus problems and infections before, so I filter every time even though it adds a couple of minutes.

I filter every single vial of everything. Why wouldn't you?
