I recently wrote up some thoughts on that old Irish wish hoping the path comes up to greet you and trouble never grabs hold of you ever in the original Gaelic wording along with a small clover symbol.

Yes indeed the recent test at the beginning of the year confirmed everything is still clear and I really appreciate it ❀️

For a while now I've suspected this compound works mainly on psychological balance instead of weight control alone, at least at lower amounts. Recent studies on the brain and digestive link support that view. My take comes purely from what happened to me so no one else should read anything into it. Starting after the first week I split a small weekly amount into two doses. Right away my thoughts felt sharper and the urge to grab beers faded hard. Before that I would go through several on most evenings. At the same time any craving for quick meals vanished and I now view them with real distaste. I always understood they were junk yet before this my brain found ways to justify them and I kept eating anyway. These days I catch myself wondering why I used to do that so regularly. Four months in I've only hit a drive through a couple of times and ordered delivery a handful more. The shift feels mental since I can still overeat when I choose as I did last weekend yet nothing about fast options appeals anymore.

I changed to a coffee blend that includes mushrooms and really enjoy it now. A single morning portion is all I need since the standard version upsets my digestion these days.

BluePebble18archiveAug 4

I end up having these bizarre dreams at night. Waking up leaves me confused about the whole thing until it suddenly clicks that the injection from the day before explains it.

Which option turned out good for you? After seeing promotions I picked up a different choice from an online shop. The product proved awful, reminding me of sipping coffee that had been turned into something like sick. A colleague from the office sampled it too and quit after the first serving. I went through the whole thing anyway, mainly because I'm tight with cash and hate discarding stuff.

I figure this stems from signals traveling along the link between mind and intestines. The new compound that hits three hormone receptors together works straight in those pathways and shifts brain areas tied to pleasure, feelings, and thinking. Excess body weight now often gets seen as tied to both nerve activity and habits.

That regular portion appeals to me though it left me feeling extremely swollen.

AmberBeacon51archiveAug 4

I like this brand better since the other one caused bloating and the taste was worse. I've heard that versions bought from big online sites may not be authentic. The preferred one is now carried by big box retailers.

WryThistle17archiveAug 4

I was already familiar with those three receptors yet never encountered anything on the link between the mind and digestive tract. Given my current distaste for quick meals along with my old routine of having them regularly prior to treatment I fully see this as something driven by neural and behavioral patterns.

After a couple months using this, the sensitivity in my skin went away. Raising the dosage later on didn't bring it back.

Sugar holds no appeal for me these days. Trying anything sweet or even a soft drink now fills me with revulsion. 😱

Way to go making your target! How many did it come out as?

WarmSparrow33archiveAug 5

My partner shares that exact feeling. He feels miserable without his first cup right after waking.

SteadyCinder62archiveAug 5

That's an intriguing observation. The tranquility it brings really stands out. I value hearing about it. This is the reason behind my choice to maintain a steady intake long-term, as it surpasses those other medications I steer clear of.

Taste has never been my reason for having coffee. Yet articles about its advantages keep catching my eye on government health pages, which is why I consume it anyway. Most beans seem packed with good nutrients overall. Wondering who might mention wanting natto first? πŸ˜‚

Shopping for outfits and footwear used to be something I enjoyed a lot. These days, despite dropping some pounds, I feel zero interest in getting more of those things. Footwear isn't causing issues right now, but my wardrobe is going to need attention before long, and I can't seem to find any drive to go looking for items, whether through the internet or at stores. My spouse has started getting concerned over how little I'm purchasing lately.

I appreciate the input. Right now I'm sorting through options to settle on my target.

The surprising result from using tirz involves my former habit of constantly fiddling with my face and scalp. Previously I would yank or pluck without stopping, even around others at times. Now that urge hits far less often, maybe one fifth of what it was. This shift has transformed how I see myself because the guilt fades and my complexion improved enough to skip cosmetics when heading out. It works the same for concentration too. Although medication keeps me sharpest overall, I try to use less to avoid issues with ongoing stimulant reliance or saving extras ahead of supply gaps at stores. Even off the pills, my drive stays higher than earlier levels thanks to this. Sweets remain appealing yet I stop after a small portion since exceeding that leaves me nauseated, which I term the candy illness. That reaction helps limit how much I consume.

Additionally, my desire to make purchases has decreased. Even though I spend plenty of time scrolling through websites, I feel content just viewing things and lack the previous drive to buy them right away. Finding this extra benefit is quite thrilling.

QuietSignal61archiveAug 7

My sense of smell grew sharper almost immediately after starting the half-milligram amount.

PlainQuill85archiveAug 8

I've been using this for a few weeks now, currently at the 6mg level after stepping up gradually from lower amounts. The strangest thing I've noticed is that I no longer get those zaps in my teeth if I skip my usual morning depression pill. In the past those zaps would hit around midday and prompt me to remember my medication. Aside from that, the other changes feel normal. My appetite has vanished completely. The only things I can stomach are animal proteins like steak or salmon, dairy products, and just watermelon for fruit. All other foods turn me off. I used to down five mugs of coffee mixed with cream daily, but these days I rarely finish even one more after the first. Cigarettes still appeal to me so I keep smoking them, though now they sometimes make me feel sick and I consume far fewer. On top of everything I suddenly have this urge to experiment with lots of other similar compounds and I've already stocked up on enough of this one to last three years. Since the beginning I've had extra vitality. Fatigue used to plague me constantly but now I'm awake all day without needing a rest. My mind stays sharper too and I can focus again. Though I'm still heavy and have only dropped seven kilograms so far, this has already made a big difference in how I feel. One downside is the constant anxiety that the effects might fade, as I check the scale each week dreading no change from before.

True. Browsing items on the internet or visiting stores in real life is enjoyable to me, yet there's no strong desire to purchase most things, apart from peptides as I could use one to keep myself from getting additional ones.

CopperCinder12archiveAug 15

Over the past several months my hearing passages feel stuffed up whenever there's a change in height like on journeys. So far no visit to the doctor but an AI tool claims that using GLP1 for losing weight might result in patulous Eustachian tube dysfunction.

It's nice how this side of my condition stops me from buying things and keeps cash in place. My partner doesn't share my view on it though. He frets that I might avoid purchases completely.

GreenCompass93archiveAug 15

A few folks end up battling depression making me feel lucky lol

RustHarbour17archiveAug 15

My hip and knee arthritis pain dropped to almost nothing on sema. It wasn't only because of the weight coming off. I skipped doses during a business trip abroad and the pain started returning after roughly a week. By the flight back I was limping into a pharmacy for relief, and it eased up again once I restarted at home.

AmberFenwick97archiveAug 15

I haven't started yet so no personal stories, but my cousin on Mounjaro says he has way more earwax now. Even stranger, he used to be into punk and grunge but lately he's been getting into Taylor Swift.

I quit coffee because I figured it was raising my blood pressure and I don't miss it at all.

SlowCinder32archiveAug 19

I seem to have picked up a habit of organizing everything. I enjoy making spaces neat, building systems, labeling items, and keeping stuff in order. Never expected to turn into that kind of person.

WarmAnchor39archiveAug 19

I basically quit alcohol once I began the GLP-1 and my days got more structured with steadier meals, regular exercise, and better overall order. It started with labeling my vials and spread to tracking meal portions and calories, then even to sorting my workout plans. I actually like how it's turned out.

It made me feel freezing all the time, which I actually liked. I haven't slept this well in years. Walking around the house in a hoodie during summer felt pretty good.

Yeah it's strange having to pull on jeans when it's 95 degrees out.

BlueKettle27archive6d

Only two weeks on tirz and I can already get my socks on without having to stretch and catch my breath.

Mine were doing the same thing a few weeks back but it didn't stick around long. I had no clue it came from the reta and just figured my ears were blocked.

You are fortunate with your location. The gulf coast would have you soaked. I enjoyed San Clemente quite a bit during my years there. The weather ranks among the finest around and it remains my top pick among southern California spots. Many evenings were spent with drinks at the bar right by the pier.

PlainKettle39archive6d

Hiccups stand out as the oddest effect for me. They hit multiple times daily, though often just once and never beyond a few.

↳ replying to @PlainKettle39

That matches the spot I aim for, with an occasional burp or two and a mild throat sensation without reaching acid reflux, vomiting, or headaches. It shows the effect is there yet without making me ill.

RustCinder11archive6d

Almost six weeks in and my coffee intake has dropped too. I switched to iced hibiscus tea with lemon instead.

New to these meds and I had not expected impacts on coffee, alcohol, cravings or even non-food habits. When do those begin? Do they build with higher doses or show up at lower ones too?

GreyFenwick31archive5d

Sharks lose interest in you. A shark swam quite near while I was in the water today. I mentioned to my girls that people on this are apparently not appealing to them.

LevelAlder78archive5d

I had already reduced to one cup of half caff, really only half a cup once mixed with a vanilla protein shake, yet this week even that stopped. It was worsening the racing heart and anxiety, and I was not enjoying it anyway.

RustQuill94archive5d

Nighttime neuropathy in my feet was very painful but has cleared. Restless leg syndrome also disappeared. Strangely, my online poker habit has ended too, though I still play rarely and never for much. Wine most nights no longer appeals either. This feels like a remarkable medication.

Popcorn came up often yet the slowed digestion means a big serving of extra fiber at once can form a hard mass in the colon. I have woken at night with cramps and needed to rub my stomach to break it apart. These agonists reduce gastric emptying and intestinal movement, leading mainly to fullness, nausea or constipation. Popcorn carries high insoluble fiber that adds bulk, takes in water and passes mostly undigested. With normal movement that works fine, but slower transit lets the fiber build and dry into a compact mass that is hard to pass. Beyond initial outside skin pain and occasional early cramps, once I settled at my preferred level I have had no further problems.

IronLantern48archive5d

Far fewer random snacks at night now, which has cut our spending over time.

Coffee used to be a real passion with a modified super-automatic machine and several bags of beans always ready. Since starting in January I have only brewed three or four times and the fixation seems to have faded.
