Nothing wrong with that approach. I also keep my injections at 20 IU or below by adjusting the reconstitution volume. For my R50 I use 1 mL BAC.
Looking for input from people who have done this before. Standard advice is 1 mL BAC for a 10 mg Reta vial because the math stays simple afterward. Is there any real problem with using only 0.5 mL instead? I get uneasy about anything over 20 units even though I know it's probably unnecessary, so smaller amounts feel preferable. That would let me stay at 10-unit shots. I've seen comments that 0.5 mL might not be enough for proper mixing and could lead to uneven doses.
