Motion sickness has always hit me hard as a passenger, yet it feels noticeably stronger since I began tirzepatide. I'm also dealing with ear trouble. Losing weight can strip fatty tissue that keeps Eustachian tubes closed, so they stay open and send sounds straight to the inner ear. I can hear my own breathing, which is both irritating and painful. That makes me wonder if the same fat loss could disturb the inner ear's role in balance. Time to look into it.
Has anyone else found that starting Tirzepatide made them much more prone to feeling motion sick? It never bothered me before, but lately it happens almost every other week during car trips, whether short or long. I try looking at something far away, but I'm curious if this side effect sticks around forever or gets better eventually. Is it connected or maybe unrelated?
