Regulators cleared a stronger version of the popular weight-loss shot. Not unexpected that these bigger semaglutide amounts got approved. Makes me wonder about the patent timeline, probably restarts for the new strengths which is frustrating. Could mean tirzepatide still sits well below its ceiling too. Nothing solid out there on the tirzepatide amounts now in trials. Folks have guessed twenty or twenty-five milligrams but it might go higher. Time to raise what I take.

Different drug, but I once gave myself twenty milligrams of tirzepatide by mistake instead of my usual ten and the diarrhea hit hard.

Does sema make you sleepy? I began adding a little each week late last year and my sleep really suffered, though stress might be the cause. Last few weeks I added magnesium and doxepin while skipping the last two sema shots and sleep got a bit better, but I can't tell what actually helped.

After a rough year on the lower-dose version even seeing these numbers makes me queasy since anything past half a milligram was too much for me. They green-lit the 7.2 milligram strength but skipped the sixteen milligram one they also looked at. Still trails fifteen milligrams of the other drug on weight loss at nineteen percent and brings more sides. Hard to spot the upside unless price drops. Higher amounts of any of these might only suit the small group who lose less than average yet tolerate increases without trouble. Hope the bigger-dose study for the dual agonist turns out well. A future higher-dose trial for the triple agonist could also deliver if it scales the way it seems to, since it looks to have the most room left for bigger losses especially in people starting with BMIs over forty.
