Hey everyone, I have a question about reconstituting peptides. For my 50mg of 5-Amino-1MQ I began with 2ml but found it too thick so added another 1ml and have used 3ml BAC since. After moving to pens I want to reduce the number of cartridges, so I'm wondering what occurs if the mix stays thick. I think 1.5ml produces a clear red solution that is still somewhat thick. Will that remain fine for injecting or should I keep the 3ml volume for 50mg?
Reconstitution - Minimal amount of BAC
What's the minimum volume of BAC water for reconstituting 50mg 5-Amino-1MQ to work well in injection pens?
Forum users report that 1ml or 1.5ml of BAC produces usable solutions for 50mg, though thicker mixes can complicate pushing through fine pen needles. Personal accounts describe noticeable gains in energy, endurance and motivation from twice-daily 5mg doses, with some stacking SS-31 then switching to MOTS-c. Combining vials into larger amounts is discussed to reduce cartridge changes.
What this discussion establishes- 1ml or 1.5ml BAC yields a workable though thicker solution for 50mg
- Higher-gauge pen needles make thicker liquids harder to inject
- Users note increased power and motivation after several months of use
- Stacking starts with 5-AMQ then adds SS-31 before moving to MOTS-c
- Dosing occurs twice daily, morning and early afternoon
Whether a noticeably thick 1.5ml solution will reliably work in pens long-term
Nothing here is advice.
Apologies, nothing useful to add, yet I would like to hear how the 5 amino performs for you in a few weeks. My guess is that greater thickness could hinder injection through finer needles, but that is only speculation. Hopefully someone with more experience answers soon.
I've been taking AMQ for roughly three months at 2x 5mg daily. I feel great with more power for tasks, better endurance and increased motivation. When I went without it for several days I experienced a crash and could not even leave bed, which showed me how much energy it supplies. At 10mg per day a 50mg vial lasts only five days, which is too brief for one cartridge, so I plan to combine two vials into 100mg with 3ml BAC. 1ml did not give a clean solution but 1.5ml looks acceptable, so I will test that.
In many respects 3ml works more easily with pens and carts because the stopper does not need to be advanced as far. Volume does not matter much up to 3ml and splitting across several carts remains possible. Most users employ quite high gauge needles in pens, which adds to the difficulty when the solution is somewhat soupy since anything below 30G proves hard to locate.
Thanks for the information! I have considered this compound for some time yet reviews appear mixed. Have you combined it with SS31, Mots, NAD or similar? I notice a clear difference when stopping Mots while SS31 feels more subtle. I understand the desire to reduce effort, as weekly reconstitution for my own stack already feels tedious. For twice-daily use, is the second dose taken pre-workout or before bed?
Is it only me or do others also doubt calling this molecule a peptide? I began last week and raised the dose to 5mg this morning. Other threads indicated reconstitution with sterile water for injection works and that an injector pen is preferable. After adding 2ml the solution stayed clear and fluid with no reaction at the injection site. After an hour a gentle warmth appears and tone stays higher for the remainder of the day.
I began with 5-AMQ, added SS-31 next, then switched to MOTs-C after roughly 150mg of SS-31. The first dose is pinned around 5-6 in the morning and the second around 13-14.
