Sting and No Sting / Reta

Summary

why does retatrutide sting on injection from one source but not another even with identical reconstitution

Users report that two different batches of reta both produced substantial weight loss yet one caused noticeable stinging during injection while the other did not. The same bacteriostatic water was used and both vials looked clear after mixing. Suggestions centered on possible pH differences or impurities, with one participant noting that a particular source once had a reputation for stinging that later batches appear to have resolved.

exact reason one batch stings while another does not

Nothing here is advice.

Bought reta from two different places that both have solid reputations and reviews. One version stings during the shot and the other does not. Lost forty pounds since mid August so both versions work, but the injection feel is very different. Used the exact same bacteriostatic water for both so that is not the cause. Any ideas would help.

Have you tried straining out any contaminants? Could the acidity level be causing issues? Or perhaps you're injecting too much at once? Honestly though, I'm clueless since I've never felt that burning sensation myself and I always switch up my sources. Update: Turns out others mentioned the same thing during the initial stages.

One source used to have a reputation for causing a sting but that seems to have been fixed in newer batches. I wish someone knew the actual reason it stung. My first reta came as pre mixed pens from a local seller and it stung, so I have always wondered where those pens were sourced from.

Just did the first dose of reta from that source. No stinging or other issues, only appetite suppression and continued weight loss.
