This is a side note, but I deal with sleep apnea and insert the data card from my breathing device into analysis software each day to review the readings. After beginning the medication, the device started registering more instances of what it labels as central apneas, and this pattern has continued over the past year. These devices aren't able to accurately identify true central events, where the brain stops signaling for breathing rather than a physical blockage, yet it suggests that the drug is easing my breathing muscles somehow, extending the pause after exhaling before the next breath in. My overall index scores remain solid, though I notice the machine doesn't work quite as well now compared to initially. Still, this could be coincidental.
