So happy to be a part of this (Reta, first three weeks)

Summary

What early results are people seeing on low-dose retatrutide while lifting weights and tracking protein?

Several users began Reta around April 6 at 0.5-2 mg weekly and report 3-8 lb drops over three weeks along with sharply reduced food noise. Those already near normal BMI describe slower scale movement because daily lifting plus creatine appears to support muscle gain that offsets fat loss, producing visible leanness and a leaner face. Most are staying at their current dose rather than increasing.

I began using reta three weeks back on April 6. Starting weight was 70 kg at 172 cm; now I'm at 67 kg on a steady 1 mg per week. Food noise is completely gone. My weight loss is slower than what others report, probably because I wasn't starting from obesity and I keep lifting every day while using creatine. Tracking calories showed I was only getting about 40 g of protein instead of the 140 g I actually need. With better protein and the reta I'm basically recomping, dropping fat while adding muscle so body-fat percentage improves even though the scale doesn't drop fast. I can see the difference in the mirror though, and a coworker mentioned my face looks a bit leaner in a good way. At the gym I look noticeably better. I'm not sure I'll go up to 2 mg since it seems unnecessary right now. Just wanted to post my experience.

If you're lifting and gaining muscle that weighs more than fat, the scale can stay steadier without any real problem. As long as the mirror looks good to you that's what matters.

I also started on April 6. Week one was 0.5 mg, week two 1 mg, and week three 2 mg. The jump from 1 mg to 2 mg was noticeable for a couple days. Going up by only half a milligram each time might have been smoother, but I'm holding at 2 mg once a week for now. Next dose is tomorrow. Weight went from 180 lb down to 172 lb in the first three weeks.

At 70 kg and 172 cm your BMI already looks ideal. Not judging, just noting.

I realize that. I didn't actually need reta medically, but I wanted to get really lean and the constant snacking when working from home was hard to control.

The creatine is probably masking some of the weight loss from reta. Still, if the mirror makes you happy that is all that counts.

That's exactly where I am too. Started three weeks ago, don't need to lose much weight but want to get fully shredded and it's happening fast. Down to 133 lb from 148 lb at the first dose, almost the same height as you at 5'9". Now every half-pound or pound shows up dramatically in the mirror. I look in the mirror each morning and keep seeing more definition.
