Unexpected appetite suppression

Summary

why sudden extreme appetite suppression on tirz + reta near goal weight with no other sides

The user reports intense hunger loss after switching to a new tirz vial while holding steady at 2 mg tirz + 4 mg reta; possible causes discussed include dosing math error, overfill in the new vial, degraded prior vial, or simple syringe mistake. Others suggest checking COAs for fill volume, trying a different batch, or lowering the dose temporarily. No one identifies a definitive cause and the effect remains unexplained after two weeks.

My weight loss path moved from sema to tirz and now to tirz plus reta. I'm close to goal and slowly lowering doses while trying to reset how I think about food. I've stayed at 2 mg tirz and 4 mg reta for a couple months and figured I could drop further. The last two weeks though the hunger control has been way stronger, almost like double the dose. No nausea or stomach issues, just this intense lack of appetite that makes me force meals down. One idea is the new tirz vial I mixed recently, but the timing doesn't line up clearly in my memory. Maybe the old vial had weakened in the fridge without me noticing, or the new one was stronger than labeled. Those are my guesses but I'm curious if others have run into unexplained appetite drops on these meds.

It could be that too much product was added making the effect stronger than expected.

First step is double-checking the calculations. Even after doing this a while it's easy to slip on dilution or dose math. Run the numbers again and then again with an online peptide calculator for both compounds. Could the vials have been swapped by mistake? If you have another batch on hand, test that instead. Near goal weight most people get hungrier, not less so. Two weeks also rules out a passing virus. Without a different tirz batch you could try a lower dose to see, though even if the tirz was double strength the reta would likely mask much of the difference. A doubled reta dose would stand out more but is unlikely if using the same vial and dilution.

Thanks for the detailed thoughts, I agree with every possibility you listed. This is a fresh vial from a new lot so anything is possible. My math checks out assuming the vial labels are accurate. I use excel for everything and have verified the inputs, so the only math issue would be a typo when entering numbers. A one-time syringe draw error is also possible but I've had at least three doses over these two weeks so that seems unlikely. Something is clearly off and the mystery might never get solved. I skipped yesterday and will restart the day after tomorrow.

Look at the COAs for fill volume numbers. It's only a statistical guess but still the best data available. If the old vial was underfilled and the new one overfilled, which some sources do regularly, the new vial would feel much stronger. Without tight regulation the actual fill amounts vary between batches and makers even when labeled the same strength.

I get days like that too, actually most days, even at just 1 mg. The odd part is I'll still eat things I shouldn't, like a box of chocolates someone gave me the other day. I wasn't hungry but finished them anyway because I like them. So I can go all day eating only junk and need to fix my diet soon.
