I am reluctant to give advice here without knowing what your doctor thinks. When people lose weight, family members who are used to a heavier version of them sometimes claim the person is wasting away even though the new weight is still medically safer. I hope you reach the place you want to be.
Sorry for the dramatic title but I need advice. I began reta eight months ago at 0.5 mg and am now at 3 mg. I have dropped about 30 lbs and lost a lot of the shape that was me. My thighs and glutes used to be fuller and now they are flat. I thought I went slowly enough that no one would notice, but my mom said she is worried something is wrong and my husband agreed I look too frail. No one knows I am on reta and I want to keep it private. I have trained five or six days a week for eight years and still do. My lifts have not gone up but they have not dropped either, so I do not think I lost muscle. I want to put ten pounds back on and am unsure whether to stop reta for a couple of weeks or cut to 1.5 mg. Any thoughts on the better approach?
