Survo is weird.

10 replies6 peopleFeb 5, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Why am I suddenly craving only simple foods like cucumbers and tofu on Survo?

Multiple users describe an abrupt shift to preferring plain meals such as salted cucumbers on bread with avocado or tofu rice bowls once Survo is increased, even at low doses and without changing Tirz. This brings reduced interest in previous favorites like pizza and a sense that binge triggers have disappeared. Some on stacks report the opposite effect with increased sweet cravings or returning evening binges, while others see little difference across GLP compounds.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

Some tie the food-preference shift directly to raising Survo while others attribute cravings or lack of change to Tirz, Maz, or general GLP effects.

My preferences shifted abruptly and intensely. I still want girl scout cookies and creme brulee, and when eating out I still want pizza with feta, kalamata olives, and roasted tomatoes. At home though I now reach for salted cucumbers on bread or a tortilla with thin avocado slices, rice, and cabbage, maybe some baba ghanouj. No meat or cheese, but tofu is fine. I am not forcing anything or worried about the last nine pounds. It is just strange to think of cucumbers as a comfort dinner. I really enjoyed a tofu rice bowl the other day. I have not raised my tirz dose, I am not depressed, and nothing obvious explains it.

I have had exactly the same experience, including staying at the minimal dosage. I have been on autopilot at goal weight with tirz and survo since October. Everything clicked when I kept tirz at 7.5 and raised survo from 1.2 to 1.8. Food suddenly felt completely different, like coming out of clouds into clear sky. It has stayed that way. It is definitely a trip. Congrats!

Interesting. I will watch for those kinds of cravings. I am at 2 mg survo stacked with 15 tirz and just started feeling effects on the second dose of 2 mg. Some nausea and decent food-noise reduction that had faded on tirz alone. I had been blaming my holiday sweet cravings on the survo and its glucagon part. I could eat candy all day until I used willpower to stop.

I should stress that one product has never caused any sensations whatsoever in my case. Sensations occurred solely with the other item during the opening fourteen days of June. What stands out is my lack of preoccupation with eating. Food isn't something I obsess over anymore. I understand the necessity of consuming it, particularly while lifting weights to preserve muscle mass, which requires maximizing protein intake, and that's challenging. Yet the evenings filled with full pizzas and the mornings involving excess breakfast burritos have disappeared. Enjoying a couple pieces of quality chocolate or grabbing a deli sandwich on those days when my packed lunch isn't prepared is perfectly fine. I realize I won't plunge into overeating again since that risk has vanished and I'm in a stable place now, laughing. Additionally, I wouldn't assume my intake timing applies to others. It suits my situation, though individuals vary while sharing metabolic similarities.

Has anybody used nothing but survo over two weeks or so? To me switching between reta, a survo and tirz blend that folks label as ghetto reta, or tirz on its own hasn't shown much variation at all. In my view all these GLP compounds come across pretty much alike.

Interesting thread. I am in a similar spot. I have been at goal weight for a while on 10 mg tirz with 2.5 mg maz. Lately I have been lifting weights a lot to add muscle. Over the last week the old pre-bed binge has returned, though the food is mostly protein and healthy. The off switch just stopped working. I plan to raise maz to 5 mg and hope I start wanting salted cucumber slices instead.

30 mg protein shakes and non-fat cottage cheese are my usual before-bed options when I need something filling.

Curious how this stacks up against the other version. Has anyone used both of them?

I have not tried reta yet. I really should test it while I am still slowly building a supply, just in case I react badly, but I have not gotten to it.

About the same, but I only reached 3 mg of reta. All the GLPs seem more alike than different to me. The only one I have not tried is maz. My main reason to restart reta is for better bloodwork numbers like lower LDL.

I really do think there is a good chance it will become my maintenance peptide someday. Though if tirz alone brings the numbers down the way losing weight did last time, I will be glad. Of course back then I gained it back and now I am older.
