Stacking Tirz + Cagri

10 replies7 peopleJun 10, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Does adding Cagri to Tirz help break long stalls after years on GLP-1s, and how do people dose and maintain afterward?

Users who added Cagri after stalling on Tirz at 12.5-15 mg reported renewed loss of 0.5-6 lbs over a few weeks once they reached 0.5-2.5 mg Cagri, though some needed the higher end and noted fatigue. Most kept their Tirz dose unchanged and experimented with split or same-day dosing; lower Cagri doses often failed while higher ones worked but could cause nausea. Several plan to drop Cagri once moving again and maintain on Tirz alone, while others are testing low-dose Reta alongside.

Whether split-day dosing is necessary or if calories dropping too low will complicate later maintenance

Nothing here is advice.

I've been on GLP meds for two years and dropped 75 pounds, but still have 30-35 left. Progress has slowed a lot over the last year, sometimes just a pound a month or nothing at all during stalls, though I've gained muscle and feel good about my body and direction. BMI is 30 now. I have four months of tirz left and am thinking about adding cagri to push past the stalls since I feel like I need something stronger after this long. Current dose is 12.5 mg; going to 15 didn't change anything. Curious if others are pairing them. Also wondering what happens with calories in maintenance if they drop sharply—I'm around 1600 a day while lifting three times a week.

Hey everyone. When my progress halted on Tirz, I incorporated Cagri into the mix as well. This helped kickstart things once more, yet I'm currently exploring a way to sustain my results long term. My stall occurred at 15mg of Tirz, prompting the addition of Cagri. I began with 0.5, moved to 1.0 without results, then went up to 2.5mg where changes became noticeable. From my experience, Cagri left me quite fatigued for several days after each injection. At this point, I'm considering dropping it and seeing if I can hold steady using only Tirz. Results differ for everyone, though it proved effective while also bringing some drawbacks.

Appreciate that! Took sema for nearly ten months without any sides at all, and tirz has worked the same way so far. Sides do not concern me much, though I still hate wasting cash.

From my own experience that item proved effective. I began with smaller amounts at first but eventually decided to just try the highest level people mentioned online. For that reason I don't see testing it as a waste of cash.

Four weeks back I began combining those two and dropped around six pounds over the period. Before that my progress had really stalled out. Because of this I see getting a supply of the added one to test how it goes as a good move. Those supplies don't cost much and only a small amount gets used. I went slow myself when I started. At the same time I picked up more of the main one too. Even if the scale hasn't moved much or at all lately it looks like nothing has been added either and the medication is what keeps things steady.

I'm kicking off Cagri use this week. When people added it on top of Tirz, did they change how much Tirz they took? My plan is to begin with two hundred fifty micrograms and give the shot four days after taking Tirz. Lots of folks seem to space the shots apart so the hunger control lasts longer. Does that spacing really matter? I've got a bit of Reta ready as backup if the combination falls short. My Tirz stock will last around two months, which feels like a decent window to test things out.

I had plans to begin trying cagri this evening, yet handling compounded medications from a fresh container at another pharmacy restarted my progress with weight reduction by itself. There's still distance remaining until I reach my target, which is why I'm saving cagri for when I hit another major plateau later on.

I'm getting close to three weeks of combining cagri and tirz. I began with 250mcg and took another 250mcg four days after that. Used 500mcg during the previous week. Results have been minimal with only half a pound lost over the past two weeks. Thinking about moving up to 1mg first thing tomorrow.

Let me know how everything turns out. I'm considering giving that a try myself.

I'm sitting at this point with the dosing schedule. Tirzepatide has moved from ten through twelve up to fifteen milligrams on a six-day cycle. A small amount of retatrutide got added into the stack as well. Just yesterday that retatrutide amount rose from four to six milligrams on the same cycle. Cagrilintide ran two months at five hundred micrograms every six days then nearly a month at one milligram every six days followed by a month at two milligrams every six days. The plan is to lift cagrilintide to three milligrams every six days right after tomorrow. It's still early to judge from the main scale readings but the checks in between point to another drop.

It seems like the tirzepatide amount stayed fixed while cagrilintide got introduced on top. My weekly intake runs fifteen of tirz with six milligrams of reta, plus a small portion of cagri at point two five every four days. That extra compound appears to ease appetite only slightly, although anything above that level triggers nausea for me. These compounds serve only to hold my weight steady, since most of the drop happened years earlier before the glp medicines began, moving me from one hundred forty five down to sixty four kilograms. When the cagrilintide delivers solid results free of unwanted effects and lowers daily calories, that matches the goal for breaking through a plateau, and the amount can be reduced again once the target arrives or if intake falls too far. Starting with cagrilintide first still looks like the better route instead of layering reta or switching entirely, given the lack of any issues with tirz and how effectively it already produced a seventy five pound loss.
