Amazing Blood Pressure

Summary

Does reta lower blood pressure more than weight loss alone would explain?

Several users report substantial BP reductions after starting reta, even when weight loss had already helped. One person moved from 180/97 to 114/77 after eight weeks on the drug. Others note similar improvements at lower starting pressures and hope the trend continues at future check-ups.

Whether reta itself removes plaque or fat from arteries beyond the effects of weight loss

Nothing here is advice.

A year ago my readings sat at 180/97. Exercise and weight loss brought them to 140/88. After eight weeks on reta and more weight coming off they reached 114/77, which fits my age and height well. I'm thrilled and wondering whether reta cleared fat from my arteries or even plaque. Sharing the numbers in case others have seen the same. Glad I avoided blood thinners after the doctor suggested them.

After using this for eight weeks I expect to see comparable effects since I've taken medication for high blood pressure over a long period. How much of it do you take?

I know reta works well but curing the plague is next level. Jokes aside that's great to hear. Weight loss clearly helps blood pressure a lot, yet if reta adds extra support that's welcome news.

My weight had dropped roughly thirty pounds by the time I saw the doctor last, and my blood pressure readings stayed moderate throughout. Before starting that treatment back in the middle of 2025, the reading hovered around one thirty over ninety while I tipped the scales past four hundred twenty pounds. Then during a checkup in the eleventh month, the scale showed three hundred ninety four but the pressure came in at one oh four over seventy six. My yearly exam is coming up in the fourth month and I'm looking forward to keeping those favorable pressure readings going.

I started at 0.5 and have worked up to 4 mg, planning to stay there for now.

In the end the plaque idea is just a guess, but fat acts like glue so anything is possible. Reta is an incredible tool and I'm looking forward to the clinical trial results.

Well done on the weight loss, and good to hear the blood pressure has improved as well.
