Attended a birthday gathering last night that had nicer decorations and carefully picked drinks than usual, then stopped at a bar and got in around 1am. Not used to those drink portions so now I'm in bed hung over, occasionally playing drums for short bursts. Planning to shower and hit the gym soon so the day isn't wasted.
Stayed inside and watched to 500. Should have raised the flagpole again. It extends and I lowered it because of storms Friday night. Too hot out now and storms are coming soon.

We get some strong ones around this season. Haven't used the pool yet this year. Think it's around 80, too cold.
After the sleeve procedure my arms dropped from 20/15 down to 16/12.5. Worked them back up to 17/14. Still a long way to go.
It's 7:11am and I've only been at work for 11 minutes. Got up, dressed, did some chores, pinned a few things and logged on.
Yeah I use the shared indoor pool for laps and the hot tub every other day. Indoors keeps it comfortable. And 80 feels warm to me 😅
This one's private. No, 88-90 is ideal for me.

Did a 13 mile trail ride and now both me and the horse are exhausted.
Took a morning flight up to the airport with my daughter for breakfast and plane watching. Nice break from the heat. Came home and got in the pool.

Agreed, 88-90 feels good. I aim for about 89 when heating it. Got in yesterday after a while and it was pleasant. Use both solar and electric, solar handles most of it but electric is there because I'm picky about temperature 🤣.
Only have the heat pump here. Solar can cause issues with roof warranties and some insurers won't cover it either.
Handy when the kids' event is close to the water.
Finished my first mud run this weekend! Started at 240, down to 210 now after training two and a half months. Completed every one of the 17 obstacles and had fun doing it.
If that's yours I need an invite right away. Skip any excuses about not knowing me, just send one and I'll show up with drinks.
Meanwhile I was testing recipes to hit protein goals.

Great Memorial Day! Headed west to the oyster spot for our 34th anniversary with fresh seafood, relaxed in comfy chairs by the bay, then walked through the redwood forest and saw lots of friendly dogs with their owners.

Lots of good times happening. I had zero plans which was perfect. Did laundry, slept in, stayed in bed on purpose, exercised with cardio and weights plus bands. Took progress photos that annoyed me. Having dinner with family for a late Mother's Day. Hoping for an early night.
