Reta stack options - which to choose ?

Summary

What to stack with retatrutide for fat loss while keeping muscle?

Participants mostly advise starting reta by itself and relying on protein intake plus consistent training to hold onto muscle. Some report good strength retention from adding CJC-1295/Ipamorelin, while others prefer Tesa near goal weight or with TRT. Several note that extra compounds increase unknowns and testing needs.

Stats show 54M and reta arriving soon. Plan is to use it solo for the first month to adjust, then consider adding something to speed results. Goal is fat loss while holding muscle. Height 6'5", current weight 255, target 225. Gym three or four times weekly plus planned road cycling of 75-125 miles once weather allows, mixing zones. Diet is being improved with more protein and less processed food. Looking at three possible additions after the solo period.

Would hold off on tesa until much closer to target weight. High protein and steady gym work should cover muscle retention in the meantime. Bringing tesa in later makes the final stage more efficient and cheaper. Other choices exist and it comes down to what feels right personally and how much risk someone accepts. A SARM such as ostarine is another route some take for muscle, though it requires watching liver values and hormones. Glad the plan is to test reta by itself first before layering more things.

From the details given, reta by itself looks adequate. What is daily calorie intake compared with estimated BMR? A 500-calorie deficit, reta, and 175-200 grams of protein daily should handle most of the goal.

First step taken was raising TRT dose from the prior 50 mg per week. Food is logged and meals are smaller but more frequent every two and a half hours, totaling 1900 calories, 140 g protein and 25 g fiber daily. Gym visits are daily plus walks after lunch and dinner. Also ordered a 40 mg mots-c kit that has already shipped.

Reta paired with CJC-1295 and ipamorelin is one worth trying. Just finishing a three-month run of that combination and it kept strength and muscle gains going even while weight dropped. Expect a few pounds of water weight that fades after stopping the peptides.

Reta plus tesa uses two well-researched compounds and is the choice settled on after testing the other listed combinations. Tesa aids recovery from longer rides. Adding ipamorelin on top brings extra hunger and can push IGF-1 higher, so testing is needed regardless. The CJC version has less research behind it than tesa. Sleep was disrupted by CJC. For men over 50 the reta, tesa and TRT trio stands out when levels are kept in high normal range with monitoring.

Will reta and the CJC-1295 be stopped completely or tapered? Several approaches exist for reta, either cycling off or dropping to a lower maintenance dose.

Age is 54. Total testosterone measured at 565 last year, which sits inside the normal range, and energy feels fine currently. Once someone starts TRT does that usually mean staying on it indefinitely?

Reta will continue until target weight is reached. The CJC-1295 and ipamorelin will end once the current supply runs out in about a week. When stopping reta the dose will be lowered by half a milligram each week to let the body settle. Abruptly quitting reta is said to risk losing the progress made, so a slow reduction makes sense as a metabolic reset.

That reading is higher than what some men in their thirties show. Weight loss itself can raise natural testosterone over time. After stopping a self-managed TRT run, levels fell below the starting point and no PCT was used, just waiting for recovery.

Need to repeat the test this year and already requested it. Raising levels naturally through training may or may not happen; some luck is involved. Both lifting and cardio are already part of the routine.

SharpCinder28archiveApr 7

565 actually sits above many natural readings posted by men in their twenties on Meso. It also beats typical numbers for many in their thirties.

Given the activity level, reta by itself should cover the needs. It takes several weeks for the body to adjust and for effects to build. Adding more compounds can muddy the picture, so they are best avoided unless a deadline is pressing.

No one shares before-and-after photos showing only GH peptides for fat loss, and even if they did the results might not be convincing. Fat loss from those peptides can sometimes be offset by other changes, leaving scale weight unchanged and making cause and effect unclear.

That number is surprising given difficulty adding muscle and limited facial hair. Maybe the report is being read incorrectly. The printed total testosterone value is 560.56 ng/dL with a reference range of 241-827. No hair loss occurred, which seems fortunate.

Starting reta to drop the 25 pounds would bring weight to roughly 215 at 6'5". That would leave a lean build.
