Reta degrading

Summary

Does benzyl alcohol cause GLP-1 analogs like Reta to degrade and how stable is reconstituted Reta when stored refrigerated or frozen?

One user heard from an AI that benzyl alcohol may degrade GLP-1 analogs and asked for research. Another noted excess benzyl alcohol is the issue and that Europe uses saline instead. A third cited an interview claiming peptides are more stable than expected. A fourth shared studies showing only 3-5% degradation refrigerated over 45 days versus 14% when frozen, reported personal use beyond that period with maintained effect, and advised verifying AI claims against original sources.

An AI recently claimed GLP-1 analogs can degrade from benzyl alcohol sensitivity. Does anyone know of actual research on this?

I figure excess benzyl ends up breaking down the mix. They go with saline by itself over in Europe.

I learned from an interview that peptides remain stable more than folks expect.

Research findings I've come across suggest this substance holds up well in cold storage, breaking down only a small amount during that span. By comparison, the version that's been mixed and then frozen loses more over the same interval. I felt fine extending its use beyond that timeframe and actually did. The initial batch lasted around ten weeks while remaining potent throughout. Additionally, I avoid placing complete trust in any automated system regarding these compounds or items I consume. It may have encountered mistaken information online and treated it as true. I compare outputs from multiple systems but always examine the listed sources from start to finish.
