Summary

What are people's experiences stacking tirz or cagri with reta?

Several users describe adding low-dose tirz to their reta regimen for stronger appetite control and reduced food noise without needing to raise reta amounts. Results are generally positive, with some noting tirz works better at lower doses while reta tends to cause less fatigue. Others mention occasional skin sensitivity or the need to adjust timing of injections.

Sorry if my first message came across wrong. Has anyone tried cagri or tirz together with reta, and how did that go?

PlainCompass54archiveJul 19

Yes, plenty of people combine two or three of them. I haven't personally, but you might want to use the search tool and look through existing threads since this topic has come up a bunch already. Most questions from new folks have been covered before, so checking first keeps things cleaner around here.

Thanks. I'll just do a bunch of googling instead. Feels like new members aren't really wanted here.

As someone fairly new too, it seems like folks get annoyed when newcomers ask something fresh without first checking the many existing long threads on the same topic. The answers tend to stay the same, so putting in some effort is noticed.

I get it, and I did try searching for comparisons between them before posting but couldn't find anything. Appreciate you understanding.

For me the search bar sometimes just won't pull up results on things that are too common.

I do stack tirz with reta and sometimes cagri too. Been getting good results but sides can show up if you ramp up too fast or too high.

I began with reta at 1 mg twice weekly and still use that. Every couple weeks I add 2.5 mg tirz for better appetite control. It seems to help and keeps me from needing more reta, since I got skin sensitivity above 3 mg a week. I picked tirz after reading about possible issues with cagri like mixing problems and stronger sides, plus lower cost. No sides from the tirz for me.

I combined tirz and reta at the start while switching over so I wouldn't have to stop the glp1s. Injected them on separate days. Tirz gave stronger appetite control even at lower amounts compared to reta. Later I noticed reta left me with much less tiredness so I switched to using only reta.

I've seen that too. Coming in and saying you won't even try the search tools but want fresh replies on something already talked about a lot gives a certain impression, like expecting others to do the work for you.

That's the kind of post I like. Thoughtful, clear that the experience is personal and not universal, and it respects that everyone's body is different. Really shows the N=1 approach well. Glad you found what suits you.

I worked up to 7 mg reta and saw solid progress but food noise stayed strong. After a month at that dose I added 2.5 mg tirz instead of going higher. Just finished the first week and the food noise is gone, which is what I wanted. Probably won't increase either one soon and will stay here until weight loss stops or noise returns.

I'm considering the same approach. Currently on 9 mg reta after being at 6 mg for six weeks. It feels like it's working but not quite enough, and progress has been pretty flat the past month.
