I am an endurance athlete who got curious about DSIP because of claims it promotes deep sleep. I ran a seven-day self-trial and tracked everything quantitatively because that is how I evaluate new compounds. Bottom line: I would not suggest it to anyone; overall sleep quality dropped instead of rising.

My own DSIP results were also unimpressive. Published dosing advice tends to stay very low, probably to avoid any risk of harm, so people often start well below 500 mcg. That caution might cause some to miss a useful higher amount. Similar conservative thinking around BPC-157 could be limiting what we see from that peptide as well.

I do not follow why 1 mg would be considered high; earlier studies used amounts about 50 percent larger than what I took. At my weight, matching the 25 nmol per kg used before would have meant 1.69 mg, so my choice was actually on the cautious side.

DSIP was a negative for me as well; sleep quality dropped noticeably and I stopped after five nights. Adding epithalon reduced the downside to almost nothing. It simply is not for me.

That matches what I saw exactly. Total sleep time rose, yet deep sleep fell about 35 percent on average and REM dropped around 15 percent. The extra hours were spent in light sleep, which is not restorative, and each morning I felt less rested than the last.

My total sleep time deteriorated quickly too. I place little trust in the ring's stage breakdowns because I have not looked into how it reaches those numbers.

I tried the intranasal route for a week. Resting heart rate rose five beats and HRV dropped. The problems went away once I stopped. Subcutaneous might differ, but I am unsure.

I used subcutaneous. Trackers are not perfect at staging sleep, yet they can still show useful trends over time even if the absolute numbers are off.

My resting heart rate rose a little, probably within the noise of the devices. HRV stayed mostly steady on the watch but dipped on the ring. I will not run any further DSIP trials. Sleep went downhill fast during the five days I used it alone at doses of 0.330 mg, 0.660 mg, or 0.495 mg stacked.

It sounds like switching to subcutaneous would probably give the same result I already had with intranasal.

I have narcolepsy and fibromyalgia and have felt unrested for ten years. After DSIP my tracker showed less awake time and more deep plus REM sleep for about 48 hours, and the change has helped me substantially.

My experience lines up closely. I began at 200 mcg and increased to 1 mg; higher amounts made the sleep numbers and morning feeling worse. I still have not found any peptide that clearly helps beyond what is already available or in late trials.

It is striking how differently the same peptide can affect people. I am a very light sleeper with poor quality rest. After starting at 100 mcg and increasing by 50 mcg each day to 500 mcg I began having dreams again for the first time in years. I do not own a tracker that ever registered my sleep properly.

I use DSIP once or twice a week when I am keyed up. I track weight, blood pressure, heart rate, subjective energy, and sleep metrics with two devices. The numbers improve for me across more than a hundred data points, so I wonder if the earlier sample was simply too small.

Increased dreaming was the clearest non-negative change I noticed, though I cannot tell whether I actually dreamed more or simply remembered the dreams better because I woke during them.

It is striking how some people here had the same outcome I did while others had the complete reverse. The published studies were also inconsistent, reporting benefits, no effect, or negative effects, so the peptide appears unpredictable.

DSIP alone did not change dream recall for me, but after switching to sermorelin I had much clearer dream memory for about a week before it faded. I am unsure whether any leftover DSIP effect was involved or if it was coincidence. The change does not appear with tesa or tesa plus DSIP.

I stopped DSIP yesterday. On the first night without it after two weeks my deep sleep rose from 35 to 65 minutes.

These monitors rely on heart-rate variability to assign sleep stages. If DSIP changes heart rate or variability it can distort the stage readings. The fact that the original poster felt less rested is the more reliable signal.

I have had trouble falling asleep for years and bought DSIP to test it. Results so far are about fifty-fifty for speed of falling asleep. Dreams have shifted from negative memories to random pleasant ones. I am still early in testing, taking it non-consecutively for under two weeks.

One video suggests DSIP failed for the presenter because of genetics. Genes could matter more with peptides than with conventional drugs since peptides are based on compounds the body already produces.
