Round label availability and adhesion issues for vial tops on M2 M3 models

Turns out the M2 and M3 use the same labels so I was mistaken.

Just received the cheaper model and colorful round labels today. Labeling vials that will go into the freezer.

I bought three rolls of the white round version. Each roll holds 220 labels and the colored ones are the same count.

The M3 handles the larger size that works for 10 ml bottles but the machines are basically the same otherwise.

I have also stocked up on round labels for vial tops to use with the cheaper model or the M2.

The vial cap labels are handy for quick identification in cases. I keep simple text on those while the main info and spreadsheet handle the rest.

They have side by side 14 by 28 labels for the M2 and M3 but now those are gone. Should I get rid of the newer model and buy the cheaper one instead?

It does not make sense to buy the more expensive model and then have fewer options. The cheaper one was a deal and the other brand does not offer round labels so one printer for rounds and another for regular labels. Aftermarket supplies are not available either.

Exactly. It feels like committing to the better model led to being limited afterward. Now the only option is the cheaper model but with vertical strips instead. Not a fan.

Might help to mention which printer.

Thought the 28 by 14 rounds were only for the M2 and M3 but maybe not. Where did they go for those models?

Still no reply from the team or support. Feeling left without options.

Same here, sent a couple of emails already.

I spoke with him in messages and shared details on overseas labeling and how these printers are used for oils. Thought about sending examples from certain groups but held back for safety. Got a one month code out of it but have not used it yet. He seemed interested but probably busy and will return later.

Feedback like this is valuable and companies should offer something in return rather than asking for free input. I get frustrated when they treat it as cheap labor.

Could almost hear the tone getting sharper and sharper.

Recently got an M3 and it works well. Tried to get the software for better labels but it will not run on my older Windows version. Any way to get compatible software for the M3?

The download page lets you pick the M3 series and then offers versions for Windows 10 and up or for Windows 7 and older. On a phone it shows mobile links instead.

Only the Windows 10 version showed for M3 but it installed and runs on Windows 8 anyway. Thanks for the help.

Not sure why the pop up did not appear when selecting M3. Glad it is working anyway.

Clicking the download for windows box shows a message that the software is not available, so I grabbed the windows 10 version on my windows 8 machine and it runs without issues.

I got annoyed with the maker after they quit making those smaller sizes, though the ones they still sell hold up nicely and attach firmly to the tubes. Maybe you pulled the tubes from the cooler before trying to mark them? When I used a marker on some right after they came out of there, nothing would stay on.

The delivery arrived this morning with everything at normal indoor temperature. Not sure whether the thickness of those shiny stickers played a role or something else entirely. None of them would attach to the containers at all. I guess I'll try getting some plain ones next and compare how they hold up.

The usual blank tags adhere properly to the machine. Applying them turns out to be way less complicated.
