Reta + Tirz 150 day progress (with photos)

Summary

How do people maintain after hitting goal weight on Reta and Tirz without major rebound?

One user lost 15.8 kg over five months by starting on Reta then adding Tirz, reaching 68.5 kg at 178 cm. After cycling off, appetite returned quickly so they switched to 2 mg Reta every ten days for maintenance. Others report similar plans of gradually lowering doses until hunger returns, then adjusting back up, with some noting extra energy or worse sleep at higher maintenance levels.

Whether microdosing is necessary long-term or if most can stay lean without any GLP-1 after reaching goal

Nothing here is advice.

Lost 15.8 kg total and 15 cm off the waist, with love handles nearly gone. Began on Reta alone then added Tirz partway through; the addition ended the stall but made sides stronger. Now at 68.5 kg and 178 cm. Stopped everything once the target was reached and noticed hunger return strongly by week four. Switched to 2 mg Reta every ten days and that has kept food noise under control. For anyone who reached their goal, are you using small doses to hold the weight or have you stayed lean without any rebound? Note that the after photos were taken after two weeks of refilling glycogen.

Solid work there. Appetite returning that fast after stopping is surprising. With the every-ten-days schedule, does the effect stay consistent or do you notice it fading before the next pin? Trying to reach the size in your starting photo myself.

Thanks. The hunger spike at first was pretty concerning. Last pin was ten days ago and I still don’t feel the need for another yet. Gemini estimates 0.6-0.7 mg left in my system so it’s holding. I also use MT2 occasionally since it seems to help with appetite too. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the details, and same to you.

Also curious about this. Hit goal but still using the same 6 mg dose that got me there. Thinking about cutting it in half to test but haven’t decided yet.

Really good progress. What doses of each were you running and how long did the whole thing take?

WryBramble37archiveApr 15

Well done. Time for new pants.

Planning to hold that body-fat level, go into a surplus, or just eat at maintenance? Not sure if you lift either.

Solid outcome. Eight pounds left for me. Trying to figure out my own maintenance dose. Currently on 5 mg Tirz and thinking of stepping down to three for a while, then lower until hunger thoughts get too strong, then bump back up to the last effective level.

Tried 3.1 mg Reta a few days ago and it felt like too much. Works for staying at maintenance or a small surplus with decent eating, but energy went up and sleep got worse right away.

Reta went up to around 3-4 mg and then I layered on 3-4-5-6 mg Tirz while keeping the 3 mg Reta. Probably not the smartest health choice, but hunger disappeared even at 1500-1800 calories.

Yes, three full-body sessions a week. For now I’m doing a slow maingain because I want more muscle without adding fat. Strength is climbing fast. Will cut to 12-13 % later since my lower back carries more fat than my legs or face.

Thanks, and good luck to you. Low doses seem like they should work for most people once they’re at goal.

No kidding, I had to take the waist in on the jeans for the after shot and a couple other pairs too.

Five straight months until I was eating 1800 calories, doing 10k steps, and three workouts a week and the scale still wouldn’t move. Got so wiped out I stopped walking around the house unless I had to.

Well done, you really nailed it. On low-dose Reta myself and dropping slowly. Hope to get photos like that one day.
