What happened to your triglycerides over the same period? One part of reta's action is breaking down fat.
Week 4 on retatrutide and my lipase jumped sharply. Bloodwork showed it moving from 39 U/L in March to 249 U/L now against a reference of 13–60, which is just over four times the upper limit. Pancreatic amylase rose as well, from 27 to 80 U/L (ref 10–65). No belly pain or other issues though, and I feel fine overall. Weight dropped from 90 kg to 83.8 kg in four weeks on only 1 mg, faster than expected. I understand that lipase can go up without symptoms as a known effect of GLP-1 medicines, and the phase 2 NEJM paper notes it too. Still, going from 39 to 249 in one month stands out, so I wonder if others have seen comparable numbers on reta and whether their values leveled off or if they changed the dose.
