Full effects of the medication usually take four to six weeks to show at any given dose. It is better to stay at the lowest effective amount for that long so you keep room to go higher later and limit side effects. A short plateau after quick loss is also common while the body readjusts. I would stay at 7.5 mg for at least two more weeks.
New to these meds and on compounded tirzepatide for nine weeks. Started at 2.5 mg and just took my second 7.5 mg shot. Dropped 19 lbs in the first seven weeks with only mild burps and loose stools. The last two weeks the scale has not moved at all and hunger has returned. I also switched to a new vial when I went up to 7.5 mg. Wondering if that vial is weaker or if the first one had more contaminants causing the earlier stomach issues. Not sure whether to raise the dose or add a mid-week shot.
