Stacking AOD-9604 with Tirzepatide for Fat Loss

10 replies8 peopleMar 14, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Should I add AOD-9604 to tirzepatide early for belly fat, and does the combo actually work?

The thread shows mixed experiences with AOD-9604 alongside tirzepatide or similar GLP-1s. Several users advise waiting until max tirzepatide dose or goal weight before adding anything, citing weak evidence and reports that AOD produces little effect. A few others claim visible results when combining it with training or other peptides like NAD+, SS-31, and MOTS-c, while one user notes better sleep but no confirmed fat loss yet.

Thinking about adding AOD-9604 to my tirzepatide plan for weight loss. It seems especially good for visceral fat around the midsection. At 5'8 and 234 pounds there's still a ways to go. Only on week two of tirz so wondering if it's too early to layer in more compounds. Not overly worried though. Has anyone run these two together? Looking for dose ideas or other stacks that worked from personal experience.

What weekly tirz dose are you on right now? Takes a minimum of four weeks to reach steady levels and feel the full impact. Better to hold off until you hit your target weight with lingering belly fat or top out the tirz dose before introducing extra weight-loss agents. Several people here have also mentioned that AOD shows little to no effect.

This place tends to be pretty negative on AOD. Mice respond differently due to receptor differences. From what people share, women often notice more change than men, though any fat drop could simply trace back to the GLP compounds already in use.

AOD doesn't get much positive talk here, yet plenty of others report good outcomes. I've run it for some time now and noticed changes when paired with both cardio and lifting. Currently on 10 mg tirz plus 3 mg reta for an extended period.

Recalling that the main researcher indicated AOD failed to deliver results. It might still help certain individuals, but the overall outcome was disappointing.

Appreciate the input from everyone. After reading more last night I've decided to try NAD+ instead for my research. It looks like it could combine better with tirz. Some of the information out there is really surprising.

Checking into it now. Seems like it requires daily administration.

Picked up two vials of AOD but haven't started them yet, taking the earlier advice to hold off and test later. Need to locate some BAC water for mixing to prevent gelling. Went with NAD+ instead and added some SS-31. Following a plan that uses SS-31 for three weeks then switches to MOTS-c for two to four weeks while keeping NAD+ going. Results so far feel solid.

Recent research suggests running both compounds simultaneously may give the strongest outcome.

Trying AOD because it carries lower risk of impacting insulin sensitivity. Using tirzepatide after an earlier type 2 diabetes episode, so AOD seems like a reasonable first growth-hormone secretagogue to test before moving to CJC, IPA, Serm, or Tesa. Can't confirm fat-loss effects yet, but sleep quality appears noticeably better.

AOD might as well stand for all-out disaster. Skip it and save the cash. 5-Amino-1MQ, Tesa, and MOTS-c are the better direction.
