How was your fatigue with Cagri?

24 replies11 peopleApr 19, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Does Cagri cause fatigue and how does it compare to Reta for appetite suppression and weight loss?

Users report mixed fatigue experiences with Cagri, ranging from none at all to initial tiredness that fades. Several note strong short-term hunger reduction that later plateaus, while Reta shows weaker appetite effects at lower doses but may improve when escalated. Stacking ideas like adding Cagri to Tirz appear frequently, though long-term set-point changes remain theoretical.

I've got unused CagriSema stored away and am considering trying it ahead of a hectic period where stress eating is likely. The concern is avoiding extra tiredness. Reta gave me minimal issues but little effect on weight or hunger at 4mg. After a break, 3mg recently did almost nothing for curbing appetite. Opinions on whether to go with the CagriSema or raise the Reta amount? I regret not getting Tirz beforehand as it could have been ideal here.

BrightWillow90archiveApr 19

Zero fatigue here and only mild diarrhea as a side effect. I combine 12mg Reta weekly with 2.25mg Cagri split across doses. Your Reta amount is still low; the three people I track needed 8mg or more before seeing good results.

What compounds have you tried already? 3-4mg Reta is pretty low for someone with more body mass.

Reta was my first. I'm 5'6 and currently 160lb after starting from 190. Lost 10lb on it but stayed hungry the whole time. Maybe I'm just not very responsive.

I'm open to raising it. Just weighing that against trying CagriSema, since some report stronger appetite control with it. Maybe I'm overthinking and should simply increase the Reta.

Cagri might help shift the body's weight set point in a way the GLP-1s don't, which is another reason I'm looking at related compounds. CagriSema looks promising overall.

Hunger control isn't a problem for me once the dose is higher. I switched from Tirz to Reta and only added a couple Tirz doses when food noise returned, but otherwise haven't struggled with overeating.

Really? I hadn't come across that idea and would like to read more. Any sources you can point to? I knew Reta can raise metabolism but not this angle with Cagri. Edit: Thanks

Look it up on academic search engines.

In theory maybe, but even with complete hunger elimination I still hit a weight floor after eight weeks no matter what I ate. I did four weeks at 0.25mg then four at 0.5mg and am due for 1mg. Also taking 7mg Reta twice weekly. No sides at all, though I'm near the end of my journey and only five pounds from goal. Hunger control works but long-term set-point shift hasn't shown up yet.

Cagri has been great for me with no fatigue, just mild constipation. It also counters the cold feeling I got from Tirz and leaves me with plenty of energy. I'm keeping Cagri, Sema, and Tirz as separate compounds for maintenance. Everyone responds differently.

Increasing the current dose makes the most sense right now since you still have room to go up. Reta's hunger effects seem to strengthen at higher amounts according to available data. If sides stay manageable, just titrate. Also unsure if your CagriSema is pre-mixed; I'd rather add Cagri or Sema separately. I started adding Cagri to Tirz last week after already exceeding the usual Tirz maximum.

Interesting point. It also leads into discussion of a more selective amylin agonist that shows nearly double the weight-loss effect. Cagri may be less clean because it also activates calcitonin receptors, which could explain why some feel sick rather than simply having appetite reset. We may eventually learn what happens after stopping through proper discontinuation studies, and stopping Reta might produce an even larger rebound.

Similar experience here. Tracking showed Reta at 8mg produced less weight change than Tirz at 10mg, and Tirz suppressed appetite far more noticeably, likely due to stronger GLP-1 activity. Cagri worked well at first and caused some fatigue, but both effects were temporary and extra weight loss was modest at about half a pound per week. Tirz plus Cagri seems like a solid combination; I'm currently pairing Tirz with another compound that adds glucagon activity and strong GLP-1 effects, which has worked better than either Cagri or Reta alone.

Don't pass up the chance to overthink. What about combining Tirz with Reta, or layering Sema and another med, or even adding a trip abroad? Or mixing intermittent fasting with yet another peptide?

How has the Cagri been treating you so far? I also get dry mouth with it.

Really enjoying it. Food noise dropped to nothing, similar to the early Tirz period. Almost no interest in eating, yet sides have been absent and I can still get meals in when needed.

Then how would I finish the supply I already have?

The drop in hunger from Cagri is striking, very much like early Tirz. Dosing is touchy though; a little extra and nausea appears, but the right amount feels excellent.

Completely agree. Cagri has been a stronger addition for me than the Sema I tried last year. The total absence of hunger is different from the food-noise quieting that Tirz and Sema provide. I've had no hunger cues since starting yet can still eat to meet macros. Keeping the dose low and slow because it feels potent.

PlainPebble42archiveApr 25

Good to hear positive notes on Tirz plus Cagri. I have some Cagri arriving for possible future use. After eleven months on Tirz at 12.5mg split dosing I'm still getting solid suppression and tolerability, so the Cagri can wait until Tirz alone stops working as well.

AmberCinder18archiveJul 4

For those running Tirz and Cagri together, what's the plan at goal weight? Drop the Cagri and maintain on Tirz, or keep both?

I figured I'd stop Cagri but don't want to. Staying on all three for now, just spacing the injections further apart.
