My experience suggests poor compatibility with the compound. An earlier discussion from the previous year compared different mixing liquids for it and included some images. Recently I tried preparing batches using bacteriostatic solution alongside standard saline, drawing from the exact same production batch. While saline commonly serves to thin various medicines, this time it resulted in visible precipitation.
I received bacteriostatic 0.9% sodium chloride when I expected the usual version. The label mentions distribution by the company but looks different from the bacteriostatic water that has the red color block showing 0.9% benzyl alcohol. Did I order the wrong item? Can this still be used with Reta? Should I order the version with the reddish pink label instead? I'm new to this and want to start correctly. Any advice would help.
