Question about appetite suppression

Summary

best stacking options for appetite suppression when cutting after using reta

Users report tirz delivers stronger appetite control than reta at lower doses, with reta needing higher amounts like 8 mg weekly before noticeable effects appear. Some add low-dose cagri to reta for extra suppression without stacking two glp-1s, while others stay on tirz alone and later drop to micro-doses for insulin benefits only. Experiences differ on side-effect feel, with tirz often producing mild nausea and reta simply removing hunger.

Right now muscle building is the focus so full appetite control isn't a priority. Later during a cut, for anyone who has tried both reta and tirz, is tirz alone better, combining the two, or pairing reta with cagri instead? I currently use only 2 mg of reta and have stayed at that level. What amounts would you suggest from your experience? Thanks for any input.

Lots of people try different mixes. When I moved to maintenance on reta I added a very small amount of cagri because reta did not suppress me as much as tirz. I avoided combining two glp-1s and eventually dropped the cagri after dropping too much weight past my target. Now I just use 3 mg reta and am fine with a bit more appetite.

Thanks, that helps. Was the cagri in a 5 mg vial and if so how many units on an insulin syringe did you draw?

That statement is incorrect because cagri is not a GLP-1.

I understand, I was not calling cagri a glp-1. I was talking about avoiding two glp-1s when the original post mentioned tirz and reta, and I chose cagri instead.

Yes it was a 5 mg vial. How many units you pull depends on how you reconstitute it, so use a calculator for that. There are several posted on the forum.

Tirz gave solid appetite control at every step up in dose. After stopping the brand version due to cost I switched to reta and only noticed real suppression once I reached 8 mg per week split into two injections. The feeling was different too, tirz came with slight nausea while reta simply removed hunger. I ordered some cagri but at the current reta dose I probably will not need it.

I used tirz by itself because it handled food noise well. Reta is said to speed fat loss but I was not in a rush and it does not suppress appetite as effectively. Reta can also raise heart rate and increase sweating. I dropped 90 pounds and have kept it off for two years while still using small tirz amounts for blood sugar control without any appetite effect.

Not sure why this needs to be complicated. You are still at a low dose of reta and already considering adding other glp-1s. Just raise the reta dose when you want to cut.
