On my second kit from that same place and neither one has shown any gelling even though both stayed in the fridge.

No gelling here either. I mix 10 mg with 1 ml bac, keep it cold, and use 2 mg each night before bed. Usually have a backup vial ready about two-thirds through the current one, so the reconstituted material sits in the fridge roughly a week on average. IGF-1 went from 158 up to 291, so it still works fine.
Two especially bad ideas, especially together: leaving reconstituted material out at room temperature and skipping the standard bac. Non-standard bac can seem fine because nothing else reacted, but this material flags pH problems quickly. Using lower-grade bac also raises bacterial risks that get worse without refrigeration afterward.
This whole thing is pretty interesting and I'm hoping more research comes out soon. I've read that adding acetic acid can fix the gelling, but I'm wondering whether that creates other problems.

The raw molecule seems to have a hydrophilic part that makes it clump more easily in colder liquid. One overview laid out how the approved versions changed over time: early ones had no stabilizers and said to inject right after mixing because they wouldn't last even a day. Later versions still carried the same no-storage instruction until a stabilizer was added and a seven-day room-temp shelf life was approved.

That sounds plausible, but how does it line up with third-party tests showing the material kept good mass and purity when refrigerated for three or four weeks or left at room temp for two weeks?

Only explanation that fits is the version used in research circles differs slightly from the updated approved product.
Not convinced the gelling is built into the compound itself. Eight weeks into a twelve-week run and none of my refrigerated vials mixed with standard bac have gelled. Feels more like it depends on the specific formulation, concentration, excipients, pH, or purity level. Anyone seen published stability data showing the material inherently gels?

Looks like parts of this came from a short video response by a peptide influencer. Might be worth checking the references listed there. One note stood out about an FDA review that addressed earlier concerns and approved the updated formulation. If the January 2024 complete response letter could be found it might show whether actual data supports claims of an inherent stability problem with the basic molecule.
Late to the discussion but planning to start the rats on Monday and have seen the varying storage advice. Did the group reach any conclusion? How are the people who skipped refrigeration feeling compared with those who used it? Kit just arrived and is sitting cold. Should the vial warm up first or can it be mixed straight from the fridge? Planning to use standard bac that has been kept at room temp in a dark spot.
