I'm new to syringe filters and wanted advice from those with experience on whether HGH calls for something different than the filters commonly suggested for peptides on the boards.
GH counts as a peptide so the usual 0.22um PES filter works. It clogs more readily than other peptides though so while 4mm often suffices for a GLP1 the 13mm size is better for gh.
The last reply is correct. Go with 13mm since 4mm clogs after 1ml.
Thanks that helps. I located some 13mm double-layer PES filters rated at 0.2 micron. Would those work or does the difference from .22 matter?
I would normally avoid that marketplace but certain brands there are reliable. The .2 and .22 sizes are equivalent. They just need to be sterile and individually wrapped.
I have bought and used similar ones from online sources twice and they worked fine while coming individually packaged.
This peptide seems easily damaged to me. I'm questioning whether running it through a filter could cause harm.
It seems recommended across various web sources including meso and peptide sites I found while looking into it.
There is plenty of discussion on meso about it some of it contentious but I have come to the view that filtering is unlikely to damage it and the benefits outweigh any possible downsides.
Not exactly the same as filtering but a stress test on hgh showed it came through fine.
I have filtered every vial of HGH I have used. IGF levels rose and I am satisfied. Some 0.22um PES options in 13mm and 33mm sizes worked for me. A few did not come individually wrapped so sterility worries increase once the pack is opened.
