NAD+ 500

35 replies19 peopleNov 17, 2025β˜† Follow
Summary

What dosing, reconstitution, injection methods, and side effects do people report with NAD+ 500 mg vials?

Users start at 25 mg and titrate to 50-100 mg, often 2-3 times weekly. Reconstitution uses 3-5 ml BAC water per 500 mg vial, with more dilution reducing injection pain. SubQ is common but some prefer IM for stronger effects; stinging, chest tightness, knots, and heartburn appear frequently at higher concentrations or doses. Benefits noted include energy, mood, and warmth, though results vary and some stop early due to discomfort.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

Whether SubQ or IM delivers better noticeable effects; some feel nothing SubQ while others get strong responses either way.

Still open

Long-term safety of repeated use, ideal frequency for mitochondrial goals, and why some experience no benefits at all.

Nothing here is advice.

I just got a kit of NAD+500; is 25mg a reasonable first dose? What amounts do others usually use? Any tips on this peptide? I was told not to freeze it, is that right?

Here’s another:

QuietAlder20archiveNov 18, 2025

It was a vial holding five hundred milligrams that I combined with five milliliters of bacteriostatic water to achieve one hundred milligrams per milliliter.

SteadyQuill55archiveNov 18, 2025

I've tried this compound nine times now, mixing 500mg into 3ml of bacteriostatic water. Nothing happened at the 25mg dose. At 50mg there was a mild rushing sensation followed by some tightness in my chest that might have been half anxiety from worrying about side effects. The 100mg amount produced a bit more of that same chest sensation, again possibly from anticipation. Injecting causes definite discomfort as the liquid goes in. Even though the product comes buffered, the process still causes pain, though mild. This discomfort makes me nervous each time, and I think that's contributing to the chest feeling because the fear builds up during administration. The pain itself is just a dull ache rather than sharp. Afterward there's a lump that lasts several days without being tender.

Pushing the plunger causes intense discomfort for me. The mix must be overly strong at the moment. I plan to weaken it by adding extra liquid. Others experience this same discomfort along with the anxiety too.

SharpLedger58archiveMar 12

After gradually increasing over time one hundred milligrams turned into my regular amount. I prepare the mixture so twenty units deliver that quantity. At first there was some irritation but these days I notice nothing at all.

When I opened the picture viewer these labels popped up for shutting the display, moving ahead, going backward, an alert if material fails to appear suggesting another try, kicking off the sequence, halting the sequence, expanding to full monitor, viewing small previews, saving the file, sending it around, enlarging the view, launching separately, and flipping the side panel.

YES, it needed that buffer! Today I discovered the trick. I mixed in another four milliliters of bac water and lowered my amount to fifty milligrams. It feels way improved now. Now I manage it three times weekly. I'm going to pause a month before increasing to about one hundred each time. I really dislike forcing too much liquid. Turns out I had mixed it too strong. What a lesson that was!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

This isn't giving me much reassurance at all. Once I wrap up my present treatment round involving that copper peptide, I intend to focus next on restoring my cellular energy centers. Reaching this point in life means such restoration work is well overdue. Haha

LevelTimber64archiveMar 14

Haven't seen any results from NAD+ so far. It's strange how curious I've become about sampling different peptides lately. Still can't tell with the copper one after barely a month.

SlowWillow17archiveMar 14

Began with just one 25mg portion. After that I took two more separate 25mg portions. These days I stick to 50-75mg daily. The larger amounts hit me noticeably. It generates warmth so I handle low temperatures better. After one 75mg portion I sat in an ice bath and beat the local bathhouse time by two minutes.

SharpHarbour71archiveMar 14

NAD+ seems excellent at this point. Over the last three weeks my routine includes seventy five milligrams each day. Energy levels are clearly higher along with an improved mood. What stands out most is the pleasant reduction in my blood pressure. It looks like I feel slightly improved with each additional day of use.

Have you chosen SQ or IM for locking your attached storage?

SharpHarbour71archiveMar 14

Muscle injection is the approach I need to use now. Around half a year back I gave the under-skin method a try but noticed hardly any effect, and the cause stayed unclear, so I might test that option once more later just to confirm how it goes.

WarmWillow50archiveMar 14

Both NAD+ and GHKcu count among my top choices. I make sure to have both on hand all the time. Began with twenty five milligrams on alternating days yet shifted to fifty milligrams in that schedule because it hits the right level for me.

BrightLantern89archiveMar 14

This marks my third time using the NAD+ 1000 that I prepared by mixing bacteriostatic water into a vial. My current amount is eighty milligrams which equals forty units three times every week. Right after the shot I notice a pleasant surge and there is never any soreness bump or reaction at the spot.

LevelTimber64archiveMar 14

Is everyone pinning IM or SQ?

QuietAlder20archiveMar 14

With under the skin shots the uptake happens more slowly which explains why intramuscular NAD+ gives a more intense and rapid hit. Opinions appear to have shifted toward preferring the subcutaneous approach for injections of one milliliter or smaller. This applies also to anabolic steroids that used to be injected straight into the muscle as standard. Testosterone administered subcutaneously shows a more gradual and uniform uptake that flattens out the fluctuations and lessens estrogen conversion.

Reading around it looks like the majority go for the under-skin approach but I come across as different by choosing the muscle route.

I don't see any problem with testing options until something works out. πŸ™‚

I didn't mention anything about a stronger or quicker effect from the intramuscular method. The subcutaneous approach just never produced noticeable results for me. With intramuscular I noticed a solid lift in vitality, mental sharpness and general outlook that carried on the whole day. Those upsides never showed up from subcutaneous. Still I think testosterone does fine when given that way.

Currently in the fourth week of the mitochondrial boosting regimen. It begins at twenty five milligrams of NAD plus on two occasions each week and slowly increases toward one hundred milligrams twice weekly. No sensations appeared with the starting low dose on two days. In the second week I moved to three injection days per week on Monday Wednesday and Friday. Still nothing after twenty five milligrams across those three days. Even fifty milligrams three times weekly produced no observable change. Next week I will reach one hundred milligrams hoping something appears then. A bit of soreness shows up at the injection spot for roughly twenty to thirty minutes before fading. When hitting the higher dose I plan to use less bacteriostatic water so the liquid volume per shot stays smaller than one hundred units. I hope the mixture stays reasonably diluted.

SteadyLedger49archiveMar 14

My animal subject gets 100 milligrams of NAD+ injected at least three occasions every week. Redness along with discomfort ended following the starting seven days yet he describes the vitality surge as nearly compelling.

CopperBramble56archiveMar 15

I recently got some 500mg buffered NAD+ and I'm looking into tirzepatide at the same time. My hope is that the NAD will support turning meals into usable energy and give me a small boost overall while I stick with better eating habits and more movement. I'll begin with the schedule posted near the start of this discussion and thank the person who shared it. That plan calls for mixing 3ml of bac water into the 500mg vial then doing 5mg twice weekly for the first two weeks followed by 50mg twice weekly for the next two and then 100mg twice weekly after that. Since muscle shots aren't something I'm comfortable with yet this will all be done under the skin. Any thoughts on good spots would help I'm leaning toward the thigh to keep the two compounds in different areas but open to the stomach if it works better there. Let me know if the outline above seems off in any way.

WryFenwick45archiveMar 15

Why does that peptide always leave these hard bumps behind? So frustrating! I've been working that solvent liquid right onto the swollen spot for several days in a row and they look like they're shrinking.

ClearSparrow96archiveMar 15

For the past month and a half I've used this at fifty milligrams on two separate days each week. The mental sharpness and vitality it provides feel excellent, yet right after the shot intense indigestion shows up along with growing tightness around my heart area. That sensation alarms me and sticks around until I release air from below. Has anyone else noticed something similar? I'm hesitant to raise the amount because that later wave feels far too alarming.

SharpHarbour71archiveMar 16
↳ replying to @ClearSparrow96

I don't know anything about heartburn happening, can't figure that out. Feeling pressure in the chest happens often, and people usually say to use a smaller amount when it's annoying. For me it goes away in five to ten minutes without needing to release any air or anything, and it's not bothersome at all. Did you ever try taking only half the amount to check if the problems go away?

QuietLedger82archiveMar 16
↳ replying to @CopperBramble56

I stuck with twenty five milligrams across the first two weeks rather than five milligrams like it said above πŸ˜‰

Most times I stick the needle into the bottom part of my stomach.

WryFenwick45archiveMar 17

Something like that would make me super nervous too. I only end up with swellings and raised spots. Sigh. Nothing nearly that thrilling.

Personally the one point I'd mention involves mixing five milliliters with five hundred milligrams so shots under the skin or into muscle burn less. That choice also makes figuring doses straightforward since each unit holds one milligram.
