I often whip these up once my shift ends or as the main dish on days when I want fewer calories. They end up loaded with healthy fats and give a bit of crunch from the cocoa bits plus the firm coconut cream, which fits what I enjoy. Eight ounces of almond milk, one to one and a half cups of chilled berries, a tablespoon of hemp hearts, two teaspoons of the coconut cream I freeze ahead into small cubes so portioning goes faster and the chew stays, a teaspoon of those cocoa pieces, a drop of stevia liquid, one scoop of chocolate protein powder, a pinch of dried ghost pepper, plus water poured in until it covers everything inside the blender.
Up until now I've prepared these only early in the day and it somewhat curbs my desire for sweets. I'm attempting to swap this in place of my morning coffee though it's proving difficult since I really enjoy coffee.
