Is it safe to mix the 60 mg vial with just 1 ml so that 10 units equal 6 mg? That matches my wife's dose and would keep things simple. I'm worried an extra unit or two could deliver too much or that the concentrated solution might not spread well and cause nausea. I'll switch to this vial once my current one is gone so fridge time isn't an issue. We use 8 mg and 6 mg so a bottle would last under five weeks either way. Would 3 ml be better so 30 units give 6 mg and 40 units give 8 mg? BAC water is cheap and I have U-100 syringes.

No worry about the medicine entering the blood too quickly. Both of you will inject into fat and absorption will be gradual. I usually add a bit more BAC so the numbers on the syringe are easier to read accurately. Twenty units is simpler to measure than ten. I print a small chart that lists units for each dose and tape it inside my kit lid.

That gives the answer. Between the two of you that's 14 mg each week so a 60 mg vial lasts four weeks. One millilitre is therefore the right amount to add.

The highest approved dose is 12 mg. In the studies the pens contained 0.5 ml which works out to 24 mg per millilitre. I would not exceed that concentration by much.

Not at all. A 60 mg vial with weekly use of 8 mg and 6 mg means 14 mg total per week. Over four weeks that is 56 mg so only 4 mg would remain after a month. With 1 ml the injection volume stays small and if side effects are absent that smaller volume should be preferable.

Use two vials each mixed with 3 ml. That gives her roughly 30 units for 3 mg across ten shots and you about 40 units for 4 mg across seven shots. Check the actual liquid level in the vial and tweak if needed. I just did the same with two 50 mg vials.

It might be either factor but we cannot be sure. The safest approach is to follow what the original maker did.

The amount you inject does not change just because you add more or less BAC. It depends on the final concentration.

I read somewhere that this compound dissolves at about 20 mg per millilitre in water. If that is right then 60 mg will not fully go into solution in 1 ml. I would use 3 ml for a 60 mg vial.

That seems reasonable. Because I already take relatively few shots I would rather keep the volume per shot as low as possible.

I was about to say the same thing. One millilitre will not dissolve 60 mg of any peptide I know. Even with 3 ml you will probably need some swirling and shaking to clear the particles.

I use 3 ml with this compound and 2 ml with the other one so the concentration is 30 mg per millilitre and the injection volume is smaller. Unless you know the exact amount actually in the vial you could easily dose too high or too low. With a 60 mg concentration I would not want to take that chance.

If the worry is that the dose might be off then adding more BAC makes sense because any error in a single shot becomes smaller.

Three millilitres seems like the best option after hearing the feedback. The injection volume for a 6 mg or 8 mg dose is not a big deal either way. I can see how a more concentrated mix might not spread as well. This is the only thing I have pinned where I sometimes wish I could dilute it further without moving it to a larger vial. I use a small shaker device to mix by laying the vial on its side and letting it roll for a few minutes.

Normally I reconstitute at 30 mg per millilitre so my 9 mg dose fits in a 0.3 ml syringe. Higher concentrations can cause precipitation, injection-site reactions or faster breakdown. That said 140 mg has been seen to dissolve in 1 ml at least for a short time so this is not really an issue.

An AI reply suggested that 60 mg in 3 ml giving 20 mg per millilitre stays inside known solubility ranges for these peptides and matches what compounding pharmacies and users report. One millilitre often fails to dissolve it fully while 3 ml works reliably.

I have mixed both this compound and the other one with 1 ml and never ran into problems. I like keeping the subcutaneous injection volume small. If the solution were saturated you would see undissolved material but that has not happened for me. Results may vary.

I add 3 ml to these vials and to the 50 mg ones without trouble. That is why checking the actual amount in the vial matters. For example the 50 mg vials I recently used contained 56 mg according to the lab test. See the earlier comment.

The discussion seems to have shifted back. If the 20 mg per millilitre figure is not reliable then 1 ml could work provided the weekly dose is high enough to need a measurable volume. Ten units from a 60 mg per millilitre mix would give 6 mg and thirteen units would give 8 mg.
