I was looking through the freezer and found some vials I do not recall getting. I have plenty of others I can identify, but these are different. They have blue tops and say TR 60 on the lid, yet the bottles themselves are bigger than the usual small ones. I know TR often means tirzepatide, but could it mean something else? There is quite a bit of white material inside. I may also have some with disp written on the lid.
I would lose sleep over this. I label every single vial the moment it arrives. A 60 mg fill is not unusual for tirzepatide, so the larger vial size does not ring a bell. Still, TR normally points to that peptide.

It is probably tirzepatide unless you have ordered something else that begins with T. I do not label every individual vial, but I write the full name on the plastic box that holds each kit.

Did these come from a group purchase last year? Are the contents broken into pieces? Were they 5 ml vials? They resemble ones shown in a test report I saw.
I would send a sample for testing. It might help to keep a spreadsheet that records cap color, crimp color, and the COA for every order, plus cost per milligram. The drop in price over time has been noticeable.
I always worry the lids might get swapped because some do not stay on tightly. I label each vial itself even when they sit inside a kit case.

Always put the label on the vial body, never only on the cap or the box. After reconstituting two different items I once discovered the only identifying marks were on the caps, so I had no idea which was which. I ended up running a small test with numbered vials and injection sites to figure out which one caused a reaction. That would not work for most compounds and I would have had to discard everything. The most common problems with these peptides are dosing mistakes and mix-ups, and labeling reduces both risks. When vials hold different strengths of the same peptide, writing the milligram amount on the label helps avoid errors. TR60 has to be tirzepatide 60 mg; nothing else fits. The only larger tirzepatide vials I have seen are marked TR100 and come in 5 or 10 ml sizes instead of 3 ml, but the marking here still points to 60 mg.
If you need a reason, I am happy to say yes, get one.
NAD also arrives in the larger vials, though they are usually tinted rather than clear. By chance I have some NAD with that same color cap.

You are right about the mix-up risk. It is even worse for the people filling thousands of vials at once, which explains why some vials do not match their labels. It would be useful if manufacturers marked the caps at the time of filling.
