Seeking advice on managing fatigue while continuing weight loss with Reta

5 replies4 peopleApr 24, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

what peptides to stack with reta to keep losing weight without exhaustion

The original poster lost 30 lb on Reta in two months, then felt very tired and flat; stopping the drug helped somewhat after forum advice. Others pointed out the fatigue was probably from an aggressive deficit plus poor electrolytes and hydration rather than a need for more compounds. One user suggested trying 5-amino for energy while another strongly advised fixing basics first before restarting any peptides.

After using the medication for eight weeks I shed thirty pounds but then developed ongoing exhaustion and felt drained. Suggestions from the group led me to incorporate something else which has helped me recover. Two weeks have passed since I discontinued it. The weariness continues all day long however I hope to drop another thirty pounds. What other peptides could be combined with this to aid in weight reduction and reduce the fatigue?

Using 5-amino has boosted my energy levels. I take it about thirty minutes ahead of my exercise session, or sometimes during the afternoon as well. Searching the forum turns up plenty of helpful details on its effects. An earlier post included a chart with dosage information. Hope things go well for you.

Honestly I would not rush to add more peptides. That level of fatigue is a warning sign, not something to cover with another compound. After roughly 30 pounds in two months there is a good chance of a very aggressive calorie deficit. Using fat burners or energy peptides on top of something already cutting intake can make the deficit worse. It might hide the symptoms for a while but does not address the real cause. Focus first on getting calories, protein, hydration, and electrolytes properly sorted. If restarting, try a lower dose and move more slowly while keeping the basics strong. Most people feel much better that way and the results last longer.

I wonder whether my fluids and minerals are adequate lately. Cutting back on meals often causes me to lower beverages and salts without noticing.

I was probably not getting enough electrolytes, and that is what I corrected after the advice here. Even though I am not using Reta now I feel better. For water and salt, I was living at 7200 feet at the time and drank plenty of water but maybe not enough. I will pay more attention next time. I was using a lot of that salt. Thanks for the advice.

Good advice, thanks. On calories I eat carnivore but was only having a protein shake for breakfast. Lunch was about a pound of ground beef with cheese and some bacon. Dinner was a 16-18 oz steak and a snack of two to four boiled eggs. So I thought protein was covered. Hydration and electrolytes were most likely the shortfall. I have fixed that now and will keep it going when I restart Reta. I am waiting to feel normal again before starting back up because I can already tell the flat feeling is less.
