I get why some start with very small amounts. Trials actually began participants at 2 mg though. If nothing is felt then moving up to that trial starting level makes sense. Even so the real issue is calories. Without a deficit no amount of the medication will produce loss. Tracking intake precisely helps a lot. From experience the drug can feel very effective but it is not magic on its own.
23-year-old woman, 164 cm and 102 kg. Almost a month into reta with doses of 0.5 mg then 1 mg twice. Sunday is my fourth injection and I plan to stay at 1 mg. I realize the medication builds up gradually so progress takes time, yet the scale has not moved. Heatwaves here have kept me from daily long walks. Appetite feels a bit lower and I am getting used to not eating when I am not actually hungry. Curious whether other women also saw little change the first month before better results later.
