Who changed the rules? The WHO? Some company? Insurance companies?
Been using the medication for the past 17 months and dropped 125 lbs. Charts still call me overweight and say I need to lose another 5 lbs to reach normal. Then this week the rules changed. The new version says BMI is only part of it: normal is 18.5 to under 25, overweight is 25 to under 30 with waist-to-height under 0.5, and obese is over 30 or 25 to under 30 with waist-to-height at or above 0.5 plus any medical issue like high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, lung, kidney or heart disease, or depression. My BMI is 25.2, waist-to-height is 0.21, and I have hypertension. Went from mildly overweight straight back to obese. Feels lousy.
