I found a product called reconstitution liquid on a shopping site that lists 0.9 percent benzyl alcohol and the rest deionized water. Is this the same as bacteriostatic water? Other places selling the real thing don't show ingredients and are out of stock.
Legally no, chemically probably not, and realistically maybe but more likely not. The main issue with these waters from shopping sites is most test poorly for the alcohol content or pH, and many fail microbial contamination checks. Plenty of people say they've used them for years with no problems, yet they don't consider what it might do to peptides. The body can handle a lot but peptides cannot.

Do some searches here. Some people in Canada have had luck with certain supply stores for the standard product. Something like that. It's on here.
I placed an order back on the sixth of January and it still hasn't shown up. I spoke with a few others who managed to buy theirs at pharmacies after phoning around to several spots until one agreed to provide it.
Found it locally after calling around. The nearest spot didn't have it but staff directed me to another location that did. Looks like there is a stock issue in the area right now, so I grabbed several bottles.
