Anybody on PEG-MGF?

Summary

Does PEG-MGF build muscle on its own and does it enlarge the heart?

Users report substantial size gains when stacking PEG-MGF with other compounds like Sust and IGF-1 DES, but no one claims standalone muscle growth from PEG-MGF alone. Most treat it as systemic and inject it subQ, while noting that local IM use of shorter-acting versions targets specific muscles. Heart growth concerns are attributed mainly to excess GH or IGF rather than PEG-MGF itself.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

Whether PEG-MGF should be injected immediately post-workout or during a 48-hour window afterward, and whether IM or subQ delivery is preferable

Whether PEG-MGF alone produces noticeable muscle growth or causes heart enlargement

Nothing here is advice.

Has anyone tried this peptide by itself and noticed actual muscle gains? Or do most people stack it with other things? Also wondering if it caused any heart enlargement.

Ran two six-week cycles separated by two months where I also used Sust and IGF-1 DES. Ended up adding 12 kg total, with arms reaching 20 inches and forearms at 15.5 inches. Pumps and vascularity were extreme.

Just learning about PEG-MGF from scratch after seeing a video. The heart growth angle sounds like the myostatin inhibitors, so I'm hesitant, though maybe a single test run wouldn't be bad.

Cardiomyopathy issues seem tied to too much GH signaling from extra IGF rather than the MGF itself, at least from what I've come across. PEG just means it's been pegylated so it lasts longer.

Might give it a shot once I finish with tesamorelin and the CJC-1295/IPA combo.

Someone around here seems to know PEG-MGF well. Research suggests it's generally tolerated fine, though the IM shots can sting more than subQ. Also, my V4 pen dispenses the liquid really slowly—is that typical?

I stuck with subQ for mine, though a couple arm shots ended up going IM without trying.

SteadySparrow49archiveJun 2

Doesn't it end up working throughout the body anyway?

It circulates systemically but apparently performs better when injected into the muscle. IGF-1 DES has comparable effects yet is clearly meant for targeted IM use.

Yeah, systemic. With the long half-life version you can let it spread, but the short version gets pinned right into the worked muscle to keep it local before it clears. For PEG-MGF I would focus on big compound lifts across the whole body in the 48 hours after each dose.

SteadySparrow49archiveJun 4

Don't most people pin it right after training? The timing advice online seems all over the place.

No, I do the PEG version subQ in the stomach because of the long half-life. The DES version goes locally right before lifting so the short window is used for max signaling.

When do you have your shake?

BrightBeacon35archiveJun 4

How high should the shorts sit—above or below the belly button?

SteadySparrow49archiveJun 4

Right in that metabolic window, bro.
