Anyone stack Elora with Reta!

43 replies14 peopleAug 9, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Has anyone tried stacking eloralintide with retatrutide and what were the results compared to other combinations?

Direct reports on the Reta plus Elora pairing remain scarce in the thread, with most users discussing tirzepatide stacks instead. Several note that Elora feels comparable to cagri in appetite control but with reduced fatigue and reconstitution issues. Some participants saw no added weight loss after switching, while others plan to test it for breaking plateaus once they reach higher Reta doses. The long half-life of Elora is repeatedly cited as a factor that requires patience during titration.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

One user found Elora no better than prior cagri at equivalent appetite control, while others expect the pair to become the strongest combination available once more data appears.

Still open

Whether the combo ultimately outperforms tirz plus Elora or allows meaningfully lower doses of each drug remains open.

Nothing here is advice.

Hello everyone. I've been curious if anyone has tried combining Elora and Reta with positive results. It is still fairly new so I wondered whether its milder side effect profile might make the stack worthwhile.

AmberCinder46archiveAug 9

Same question here, I'll keep an eye on the thread. My Elora is supposed to arrive in the next couple of days. I told myself I would wait until the next plateau but sticking to that plan has never been easy.

On paper the idea looks promising for breaking stalls, yet I still don't see many people actually pairing the two compounds.

BrightSparrow36archiveAug 9

It is not really surprising. Elora is still hard to make and find because it is so new. A quick search on the forums turns up at least a couple of recent experience posts from the last few weeks.

Some people have shared their runs, including me, but most of those are with tirzepatide rather than retatrutide. The outcomes probably translate across the two. The accounts that stand out are both using tirz. It could be that people on reta simply are not hitting the same stalls. The weight loss phase also seems to last longer on reta. Are you already at the top of your reta dose? If the current amount is tolerable it might be worth increasing that first before adding anything else.

BlueMarble65archiveAug 9

My test subject intends to add a small amount once the Elora finally shows up.

I am nowhere near the highest dose yet. I have been moving up slowly from 1 to 2 and just took my second 3 mg shot. From what I hear reta really starts to work around 4 mg, so I was thinking of keeping some Elora on hand for future stalls. Still, I would raise the reta dose by itself before mixing in another compound.

I stayed on reta for a long time and eventually stalled. Reactive hypoglycemia became an issue so I switched to tirz. Now I am on tirz plus Elora and it has been working well. The plateau finally moved.

Thanks for the update, glad the tirz and Elora combination is helping. I started about four weeks ago and feel decent so far. The original question was about reta plus Elora though, and there are not many reports on that specific pair. What doses are you using now if you do not mind sharing?

SharpTimber40archiveAug 10

I have a couple of vials on the way and will share how the Reta plus Elora run goes once I start.

WarmMeadow92archiveAug 10

Sounds good, hope it goes well. Are you planning to adjust the pH or just use regular bac water?

SharpTimber40archiveAug 10
↳ replying to @WarmMeadow92

Thanks. I keep changing my mind. I always reconstitute cagri the normal way so I have not decided yet. What do you do?

WarmMeadow92archiveAug 10
↳ replying to @SharpTimber40

I used regular bac water for both cagri and Elora. I only keep a reconstituted vial for about thirty days even if it is not empty. I considered using bicarb to reach pH 8 but that adds other complications. At my current 2 mg dose I am only discarding a small amount anyway. By 3 mg there should be almost no waste. The pH adjustment mainly helps with longer supply chain storage, and thirty days in the fridge does not seem to cause much degradation.

ClearBramble68archiveAug 10

Those vials seem to come in around 12 mg instead of 10. Are you calculating from the higher amount or the labeled 10 mg?

AmberMarble48archiveAug 10

I moved from 14 mg reta plus 2.4 mg cagri down to 12 mg reta plus 3 mg Elora once a week. After four doses the scale has not moved at all. I may need to go back to the higher reta amount split twice weekly.

AmberMarble48archiveAug 10
↳ replying to @ClearBramble68

I base the math on what the certificate of analysis lists.

ClearBramble68archiveAug 10
↳ replying to @AmberMarble48

What is the reasoning though? Twelve milligrams is the highest dose tested for retatrutide in most studies, so that is likely the target for approval. Elora trials went up to 9 mg. There is a standard 3/6/9 titration schedule, so why not raise the Elora to 6 mg before increasing the reta again?

AmberMarble48archiveAug 10
↳ replying to @ClearBramble68

I am already at maximum hunger control, so more Elora would not add anything.

WarmMeadow92archiveAug 10
↳ replying to @ClearBramble68

I calculate from the stated 10 mg. The actual content is not always what it appears. I do the same with other peptides and go by the labeled amount.

ClearBramble68archiveAug 11
↳ replying to @WarmMeadow92

That is a fairly strong Elora concentration.

CopperSignal27archiveAug 11

It will be interesting to see what the combination actually produces. In theory it could be the strongest weight loss pairing yet, given the early tirz plus Elora numbers. It might also allow lower doses of each, perhaps 4 mg reta and 3 mg Elora, with a better side effect balance than pushing either drug alone.

AmberMarble48archiveAug 11

I reached my goal weight back in June but have been fluctuating since. Fat loss stopped and I am hovering a few pounds above target. I hoped Elora would let me lower the reta dose and reduce sides while moving to once weekly shots. I dropped to 12 mg reta to keep similar peaks, but after four doses at 3 mg Elora it has not outperformed the previous cagri. Steady state is still weeks away because of the long half life. The next plan is to bring tirz back in and taper the reta. I have needed high tirz doses before and started with a 7.5 mg loading dose today.

AmberMarble48archiveAug 11

One app already includes Elora but does not project future levels. Another does, and using published pharmacokinetic values I am sitting near 7 mg with a peak around 9 mg.

AmberMarble48archiveAug 11
↳ replying to @CopperSignal27

That was the expectation I had. So far it has not beaten cagri when added to reta. It does suppress hunger completely, yet the scale has not moved further. It feels basically like cagri but with fewer sides and easier reconstitution, at three times the cost. I also notice resting heart rate dropping even after stopping the beta blocker a few weeks ago, though lowering the reta dose may be part of that.

CopperSignal27archiveAug 12

If hunger is completely gone then calorie intake should drop unless meals are planned to a fixed number regardless of appetite. I am thinking about switching from cagri to Elora because higher cagri doses cause nausea even with tirz and reta in the mix. Real world swap reports would be helpful.

BrightHarbour78archiveAug 12
↳ replying to @AmberMarble48

What is your current weight and age? Those amounts look very high. I have also seen smaller effects than expected from 6 mg reta plus 1.25 mg cagri and am considering raising doses.

BrightHarbour78archiveAug 12
↳ replying to @CopperSignal27

The strongest option will probably involve bimagrumab once it arrives.

BrightHarbour78archiveAug 12
↳ replying to @AmberMarble48

How much did the reta raise your resting heart rate at that dose?

GreyAlder96archiveAug 12
↳ replying to @AmberMarble48

I am not following. Weight loss ultimately comes down to calories unless hormones interfere. Elora is not expected to create loss beyond appetite effects. Reta adds a small amount of extra burn through glucagon. If hunger is truly zero then extra calories must still be coming in somehow.

WryThistle17archiveAug 12

I only read one article that mentioned both compounds. It said Elora works through entirely separate pathways from the GLP drugs. The piece suggested that stacking Elora with a GLP is the intended endgame and could be a real advance. That is the extent of my research so far.

AmberMarble48archiveAug 13
↳ replying to @CopperSignal27

That mix looks useful for me because I want to reduce reta to ease certain sides and I still have a supply of tirz pens. I am back at goal weight today. Adding the tirz shot earlier this week may already be helping. I have been within five pounds of goal either way. I recently added protein bars and a beet root shot, which together probably erased the deficit. Reta never raised my resting heart rate noticeably, but Elora has. The app mentioned is Shotsy; another one that supports Elora is Regimen.

AmberMarble48archiveAug 13

After going back over my recent habits I realize I may have judged Elora too quickly. I am just sharing what actually happened in response to the original question.

WarmMeadow92archiveAug 13
↳ replying to @BrightHarbour78

Bimagrumab does look promising for keeping lean mass while losing weight.

WarmMeadow92archiveAug 13
↳ replying to @AmberMarble48

It is useful to collect different impressions of Elora. One point worth noting is that the overall feel is similar to cagri but fatigue has been much milder. Prior cagri exposure might also blunt the response to lower Elora doses, so someone who tolerated 2.4 mg cagri may need more Elora than expected.

CopperSignal27archiveAug 14
↳ replying to @WarmMeadow92

The issue with bimagrumab is that it is an antibody rather than a peptide, so it is unlikely to appear through unofficial channels. Making antibody drugs is far more complex and costly, and the grey market probably will not attempt it.

WarmMeadow92archiveAug 14
↳ replying to @CopperSignal27

That is disappointing. I had not looked into it much, but the idea of preserving or even gaining muscle while dropping weight sounded ideal. Does that also mean Maritide will stay out of reach through the same channels?

CopperSignal27archiveAug 15
↳ replying to @WarmMeadow92

Even though the first impression was neutral, the lower fatigue suggests Elora may still be an improvement over cagri. If someone tolerated 2.4 mg cagri they will probably need a higher Elora dose, which gets expensive, yet the side effect profile remains better than cagri at those levels.

AmberMarble48archiveAug 15
↳ replying to @CopperSignal27

I was the one on 2.4 mg cagri. Neither compound caused fatigue for me when following the longer titration schedule. I am now moving from 14 mg reta to a mix of 15 mg tirz plus 6 mg reta and 3 mg Elora. I took 7.5 mg tirz on Monday and 10 mg today, with the next shot planned at 15 mg. Last reta shot was 12 mg last Saturday; the next is scheduled for Monday at 6 mg. I am using the app to estimate future levels though the projections do not seem very precise.

AmberMarble48archiveAug 15

The long half life of Elora, roughly two months to steady state, can be used to smooth food noise during the switch from reta to tirz. Because of that delay, changing the Elora dose should be done with the slow accumulation in mind.

WarmMeadow92archiveAug 15
↳ replying to @AmberMarble48

The extended half life definitely affects how quickly you can adjust. It is surprising how many people start straight at 3 mg. I moved from 2 mg to 2.5 mg this week and considered jumping to 3 mg but decided against it because of the slow build up. I am about five or six weeks in so steady state should be approaching. I am also lowering the tirz dose as the Elora rises, moving from 20 mg down to 17 mg last week and 15 mg tomorrow.

CopperSignal27archiveAug 16

It is probably wise to respect that long half life when raising doses. Most GLP drugs need four weeks to stabilize, so Elora would ideally need eight weeks between increases. There is still no clear official titration schedule published.

LevelThistle44archiveAug 16

About eighty percent of the level increase happens in the second week for most GLPs. Elora reaches fifty percent in two weeks and eighty percent in five weeks. If desired you can front load with smaller frequent doses to reach the target level faster, then switch to weekly injections once steady state is close.

CopperSignal27archiveAug 16

That is the approach I usually take, using very small daily or every other day amounts to reach a workable dose quickly without sudden side effects.
